Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Oriental Musk ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 15 May 2019 8 Comments

Dolce & Gabbana have launched Velvet Oriental Musk, a new addition to the brand's Velvet series. The last was Velvet Sicily.

Like a sweet, balmy breeze rising from the walls of ancient Palermo, the Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Oriental Musk eau de parfum allows you to bask in the warmth of the sun wherever you may be. With its sensuous mix of woods and spices, this unique blend captures scents of sandalwood, tonka bean and aromatic cardamom. Evoking a land where East meets West, this oriental fragrance is perfect for him and her alike.

Additional notes include cumin, saffron, nagarmotha, rose, ambroxan and cedar.

Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Oriental Musk is available now at Harrods in the UK, in 50 or 150 ml Eau de Parfum.

    Ambroxan…yuk!
I like the Vetiver, Leather and Oud but they’re far from smelling what they cost.

I am pretty sure I have never tried any of this series, and I have a hard keeping it fixed in my brain separate from the Armani luxury series. Whatever, it’s all overpriced :-)

I actually love some Armani Privee and in my opinion they’re above D&G quality wise.

I liked some of the early ones too, and did not mean none of it was good, I just think they are all overpriced. Plus, there are so many now, and so many I have not tried — that is what makes it hard to keep all these luxury lines straight.

I agree. BTW of the designer luxe, there are so many Tom Ford now, the line is huge.

Seriously! People complain when he discontinues things, but it is a good thing he does. (Although he just brings them back at even higher prices, but that’s another story).

I’m sure I couldn’t wear it but dearly love the blue of that bottle!

It is a good shade of blue.
