Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2018, part 11

Posted by Robin on 30 October 2018 12 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US. Today’s post includes special edition bottles from Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Jean Paul Gaultier, Acqua di Parma, Ferragamo and Viktor & Rolf.

Prada's La Femme & L'Homme done up in Velvet Editions: "Housed in a decadent velvet bottle to echo Prada's Autumn/Winter 2017 collection, the Prada La Femme eau de parfum boasts an aesthetic redolent of '70s-style." At Harrods in the UK, in Eau de Parfum for the ladies and Eau de Toilette for the gentlemen, 100 ml for £295 each.

Yves Saint Laurent's Black Opium in a holiday collector edition featuring a gold glitter logo. €89 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum at Breuninger in Germany.

Jean Paul Gaultier does up Le Mâle (125 ml, €89) and Classique (100 ml, €110) in holiday sweaters. At Galeries Lafayette in France.

Acqua di Parma's Colonia "in a festive, limited-edition bottle and hatbox decorated in collaboration with British artist Clym Evernden".  The Artist Edition is $200 for 180 ml at Barneys.

From Ferragamo, Uomo (100 ml, £80) and Amo (50 ml, £72) decorated by Creative Director Paul Andrew in black with gold studs. At Harrods in the UK.

This year's holiday edition of Viktor & Rolf Bonbon: "Indulge this season as Bonbon reinvents its iconic bow with sparkles. With a precious silver and pink bow dazzle with three silver bells, the Bonbon Limited Edition is utterly irresistible!" $163 for 90 ml at Lord & Taylor.

Liking the Prada but that much of a markup for that velvet sleeve?? Ridiculous. The Acqua di Parma is cute.

The price was a surprise…luckily I do not even like that print, or the colors, so I am safe.

Agree about the ADP, and they have a cute candle by the same artist.

The Pradas are cute, but way too much $$.

That’s an outer plastic case! I don’t know exactly how it’s constructed but I assume it’s double walled.

Ah! Of course. I’d like to think I’d have figured that out if my day weren’t full of meetings.
