Monday, and the last day of April, and International Jazz Day. What fragrance are you wearing?
I'm in Stella McCartney L.I.L.Y.
Reminder: on 5/4, May The Fourth Be With You...it's Star Wars Day. Do what you like with the theme!
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2018, where I'll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

PSA-PSA-PSA. Looks like TK Maxx (UK) have got more L’Artisans in (old packaging). Just been in during my lunch break and spotted (amongst others) Bois Farine, Voleurs de Roses, Drole de Rose, Traversee du Bosphore, Safran Troublant, L’Eau d’Ambre, Timbuktu, The Pour Un Ete, Nuit de Tubereuse and Batacuda. Anyway today I’m in Rose Privée by (cue twilight zone music) L’Artisan Parfumeur.
Ah, TK Maxx. Always tantalizingly close to TJ Maxx, always having better perfume, always just out of reach…
I know. All I ever see at our TJ Maxx is low-end department store stuff and celebuscents.
RIhanna ~Nude~
I saw Angel Muse for $29.99 yesterday at my TJ Maxx. Other than that, all the usual celeb stuff. Years ago TJs used to sell great stuff. I wonder if the discounters dried up their sources?
Yeah, most of what I saw at the TJ Maxx near me was Juicy Couture. There was one lone bottle of something from Burberry.
Right???!!! Man,, I wish I could find those scores!
BobH, do you remember vaguely what they cost?
100mls – £49.99
50mls – £39.99-£49.99
There were 30ml bottles of Mon Numero 10 and L’Eau d’Ambre Extreme but I didn’t notice how much they were.
Thank you so much!
Wowzers! That’s incredible.
Oh no, this American wants half of those!
I am in Mugler Cologne. Connection to Star Wars theme? The color of the juice is very similar to the color of the lightsaber Luke Skywalker made completing his jedi training. Plus, fro some reason, this scent gives me a space travel vibe.
Ha, yes, perfect match!
I am wearing L’Air du Desert Marocain, because Tatooine. This is probably the only Star Wars reference I will muster up this week, but I’m coming in strong!
Oooo good one!
Great idea! I thought of Dagobah with its swamps but totally forgot about Tatooine.
“I was born here, you know.”
“You’re gonna die here, you know. Convenient.”
One might be more than I can pull off! Actually I’ll probably just steal ideas from you guys 🙂
Greeting the day in PdN L’Eau Chic! I smell like soap. Expensive soap.
Enabler alert: this morning I noticed that Sephora has a Maison Margiela sample set – 10 Replica scents for $35 . . .
I’ve been wanting to try some more of their stuff, this will be a good way to do so!
I’m wearing Orange Star from Tauer. I should have read the review first. Although I spritzed lightly (for me) I think I spritzed too much. At this point I smell like the deodorant spray in public bathrooms.
Ooof – hopefully it will mellow soon. I have a sample of a skincare product that smells EXACTLY like the disinfectant they used in rest stop bathrooms when I was a kid in the Midwest. It’s actually amazing how well they replicated it.
That’s what happens to Orange Star on my skin too! I love many Tauers, but this one was a scrubber on me…
It’s a scrubber on me too. Unfortunately, when I tried soap and water, it didn’t work. I can still smell it. Time for a hot shower.
Me four on this one. I still have my sample; I love Andy Tauer so much that I wanted to give it another try, but I suspect it just won’t work on me.
Oops, I meant me three. Nicolasix wasn’t referring to Orange Star at all!
SOTD is a favorite for spring- EL Private Collection.
I dropped by Belk last week to pick up my mom’s Mother’s Day gift (No. 5 body creme, at 15% off!) and stopped by the EL counter to sniff things. Tortured myself a little bit with Youth Dew, just to make sure I still hate it (yes) and and was sniffing the tester for Private Collection with pleasure when the SA came over and told me I was doing it all wrong, and the best way to smell something was to spray it in the air and wave the tester paper through the spray and then sniff *that.* Oy.
Ha! This is exactly the kind of SA interaction that tests the bounds of my already somewhat combustible manners. I guess it’s a good the SA was there, though— he/she was probably just trying to avoid having to reset the “Days Since Catastrophic Olfactory Accident” sign back to zero. Who KNOWS what could have happened if you’d persisted in sniffing your way! 😉
Yeah, I might have ruined her day (eye roll) by yanking out the Aromatics Elixir tester on the other side of the aisle and spritzing it around.
I’m surprised there’s not a photo of me behind the counter of my local Ulta, I’m probably the worst offender of AE spritzing in there! Oddly I just realized I’ve never actually tried it on my skin- I always just spritz a blotter and stick it in my purse for later huffing! I’ll have to remedy that (and ruin someone’s day in the process, as you say)!
Sniffing at a counter drives me crazy for this very reason. These kinds of encounters annoy the heck out of me.
but don’t wave that blotter too hard… you might bruise the molecules 😉
ha ha
That’s actually hilarious! ????
Loved Private Collection years ago. Have been afraid to smell the recent formulation. So many are so changed.
Went to Sniffapalooza this weekend and it was a quite fun. My take home haul was about 50 samples, a bar of soap, and a bottle of liquid soap. I did a lot of sniffing and got a bit headachy Sat night, so I was a bit less intense with sniffing on Sun. Woke up this morning to a gorgeous drydown but I’m not sure if it was one scent or a mishmash. Showered and put on something familiar and easy so my SOTD is Sideris
I WILL get to go to Smiffapalooza someday, I hope.
Sniffa sounds fun. So many samples!
Love Sideris! You smell great!
50 samples??? Wow! Anything in there that you really like?
I won’t know until I try things on skin but on skin I’ve tried and like Killian’s Love the Way You Feel, Lalique’s Mon Cristal Tendre (I think that’s the name) and Euphorium Brooklyn’s Ume
And I ended up with more…from Ex-Nihilo (doubles and triples), Hermes, Diptyque and then 3 from Antica Farmacista!
SOTD is OJ Woman – my personal force field.
Perfect. You smell wonderful.
You smell awesome.
SOTD is Frederic Malle Monsieur.I do sniff the DNA it supposedly shares with Portrait of a Lady, but that being said,I prefer the latter.Monsieur is a big perfume, but also kinda soft and mellowy. If PoaL is an almost-black red rose,Monsieur is a dusky pink one.Still,a pretty damn good perfume!
????????
My neighbor had dusky pink roses growing in the front garden. After reading your comment I snuck over the fence for a sniff. Heavenly. 😉
Another dark, cold, rainy day. I’ve been offline and off perfume since Thursday with a very sick dog (congestive heart failure crisis, two days in the emergency hospital). She is better but won’t eat, so back to the vet today for an appetite stimulant. I was way too stressed to wear perfume, but today I was able to put a spritz of Profumum Meringa on.
Robin, I am with you that so far 2018 is worse than 2017.
So sorry about your dog cazaubon, that’s really rough. Hope you can get her eating again.
And sorry in general that we are both having a crap year.
Sorry about the doggle; hope she’s feeling better soon and you as well.
Hugs and warm thoughts headed your way for your pup. I hope she is feeling better very soon.
I’m sorry that your dog is sick. Thinking of you and your sweet puppy and sending healing and eating vibes her way.
I hope your dog recovers soon. Sending hugs. I agree with you and Robin that this year is being much worse than 2017 so far. Let’s hope it gets better at some point.
Hope your dog is feeling more comfortable now. Hugs!
Oh darn. I’m having doggy difficulties too with my 12 1/2 year old Golden Retriever. Hoping for the best for your pup.
Meringa is a good choice!
Sending healing vibes for your sweet pup.
Oh, sorry to hear about the pupper! Hoping things turn around quickly for her ????
I’m sorry for your stress, i hope your dog makes a good recovery. Agreed, this year has been pretty stinky.
I’m so sorry to hear about your furry baby. I hope for a speedy recovery!
I hope your sweet girl makes a full recovery and begins eating soon.
Oh no thats aweful, i hope your dog gets her appetite back soon and will recover!
Hope your Princess is wolfing down her food very soon
See o sorry about your dog’s health crisis. So hard in you both! Hugs to you and hope she perks up a bit.
I am sorry she is sick. I hope she gets better and eats better soon.
A big hug to you. Hope she gets her appetite back and feels better soon. Hang in there.
I am sorry about your dog, I hope she gets better soon
Best strength to you and your pupper.
Hope the stimulant works and she is able to chow down soon. A big hug and pat pat from me.
So sorry to read this, cazaubon <3 hugs and fingers crossed!
Hope your pup will improve!
So sorry to hear that your dog is feeling poorly. Fingers crossed that her meds do the trick.
clearly a lot of dog lovers here. I can’t imagine how to handle something so serious for a pup!
Thank you everyone for the kind words, I am feeling rather desperate. Brought her back to the vet because she wasn’t eating and found out she is also having back pain due to a disc problem at the base of her spine. Doctor prescribed five days of steroids. I gave her the first dose and she promptly started vomiting. Sigh. This dog is going to kill us with anxiety.
Hang in there, cazaubon! We are thinking of you.
poor little pupper, and poor you! I hope things calm down soon.
I hope the steroids help! We had an old cat with both CHF and spinal degeneration and the steroids really helped and perked up her appetite. Thinking of you. It’s very strsssful.
Oh, I feel so much sympathy for you both! My dog also has both heart and spinal issues and the stress of what we’ve been through lately made me feel like I was on fire. These dogs are the loves of our lives and seeing them in any pain is truly terrible. I’m so sorry you both are going through this and I hope that she makes a speedy recovery and that you’re able to find some comfort as you go through it. Hugs to you both.
Thank you for your kind message, I hope both of our beloved doggies can find relief. Right now we are just pushing liquids into her and waiting for this drug to wear off. Hoping tomorrow we can find a better solution.
Sending healing thoughts to puppy girl.
Wearing Cuir de Russie today (the Exclusifs edt from around 2014 or so)— I was inspired to pull it out after seeing Lizbee post about it on the weekend thread, even though I wouldn’t generally have thought of it as a scent to wear in spring. My history with it is complicated- I fell in love with it and impulse-bought a bottle but then never really felt I successfully wore it again. But last night and today I’m really enjoying it again! It smells very very different on my skin than on any fabric it gets on, and much better. On fabric I’ve felt it to be very very leathery, almost beefy even, and austere, dry and more masculine. On my skin it’s not extremely leathery at all, but very sweet and rounded and floral. Part of this may be that I’ve only really tried it in much colder weather— I always find that temperature can have a huge impact on my experience with a scent. Anyway, it’s undeniably lush, but today it feels wearable by me, whereas before I thought it was too fancy, too posh, too austere for someone as resolutely casual as me.
That is a BEEEAAAUFITUL perfume.
It really is…I just feel a bit ridiculous pairing it with a ratty fleece to walk the dog!
I’m in Noir de Noir today because my fiance loves it and I wanted to feel sexy, even if it is Monday. 😉
Goodness, y’all. I was sooooo sick Saturday with food poisoning. So so so sick. I couldn’t watch TV, look at my phone anything! Just stayed in bed and rolled around in agony. Yuk! I was better yesterday thank goodness, so I did some housework and enjoyed playing around in my backyard some.
Oh, food poisoning is so awful. I’m glad you’re on the mend!
That sounds terrible. I am glad you are better.
Kudos for getting better, and yes, you do at least SMELL sexy.
Omg, that’s sounds horrible! Glad you’re feeling better????????
You smell wonderful. Glad you are feeling better.
Oh no! That’s the worst! Here’s to hoping you never ever get it again
Ugh, food poisoning is the worst! Glad you’re feeling better!
So glad that uou’te feeling better!
Food poisoning is the worst. So glad you are better. (You didn’t eat any romaine lettuce did you? Although of course there are many opportunities for food poisoning out there, unfortunately.)
Ooh, that’s rough. It’s been a while since I’ve had that, fortunately, but I remember one particularly bad episode and I couldn’t eat cheesecake for years since it was the last thing I remember eating (though it likely wasn’t the culprit). Glad you’re feeling better, though!
Glad you’re on the mend.
Yeesh, sorry to read that! Glad you’re feeling better!
Oh yuck! I’ve had food poisoning a few times, and it really can make a person feel wretched. Glad to hear that you are feeling much better!
So sorry you were sick! Homeopathic arsenicum album is excellent for food poisoning, I have a dodgy stomach and don’t leave home without it.
glad you’re feeling better and smelling great!
Glad that you are feeling better, but jeez, that sounded just awful.
Yikes. Glad you are better!
Monday, Monday…I’m in Féve Delicieuse to sweeten things up.
Jeeze Louise, you smell great!
I’m wearing Arizona today. I’d like to pretend it was because I was clever and thought of the desert/ Tatooine connection, but really I just thought “Haven’t worn this in a while. Time to spray!”
It’s much more jasmine-y than it was the last time I tried it. And this time I can actually smell the “special minerals” really well. It’s starting to really grow on me.
Oh that is a good one!
Super busy Monday. Wearing Prada Purple Rain. Be well all.
Have a good week, PL67!
Thank you KellyC! Glad to hear you are feeling better today.
I grabbed Si Lolita today. Wanted something with a bit of spice but it’s a work day so had to go gently. The bottle is fun, with its little ribbon.
I used up a little 5ml mini of it and enjoyed it very much.
I remember liking Si Lolita a lot when it first came out.
Wearing vintage Miss Dior EDT from a sample I won from the wonderful Portia at APJ.
I enjoyed the chypre goodness while it lasted, but it appears to have faded. 🙁
I have not worn my Miss Dior in ages…perhaps I will join you this evening.
My those kids look grumpy. About the way I feel — I have to report for jury duty later today. Am in need of my own force field, that’s for sure. So, what’s the perfect scent for “don’t pick me for your jury”?
ELDO Secretions Magnifique sprayed as soon as they call you…
I am surprised I have not been called for jury duty in so many years. Crossing fingers!
Ha! Good one!
Ugh…. adding my crossed fingers. Wear a BW headache inducing floral. 10 sprays!
PL67’s suggestion is perfect 🙂 if you can stand it! The only time I was called for jury duty, I was living in France and thus got out of it. I know it’s an important civic duty, but…it’s hard for me not to cross my fingers that I won’t get called again anytime in the upcoming decades.
What about No. 19? Or something with a boatload of galbanum? A bitter, greener-than-green scent?
I don’t believe in the jury system, after having been involved in a case and seen up close that the general public is not capable of rational impartial judgement, so I refuse to serve. I filled out the form on the back saying I no longer live in San Diego County.
Voir dire is a joke from what I saw last year. There some who couldn’t get out fast enough while others were over-eager.
The one case where I ended up sitting on a jury — child abuse — yeah, same. The other folks literally did not care what the judge’s specific instructions were, or how the law was explained to them, they just cared about how they felt about the situation and what they thought should be done about it.

Hermes Hiris and I am drinking a cup of Harney & Sons Paris tea.
You smell lovely.
Happy Monday, guys!
1) Speaking of Jazz, I need to get tickets for upcoming Jazz/R&B/HipHop shows this summer! The Roots are gonna play Edgefield, youse guys!
2) For Star Wars week: am wearing Grey Vetiver- and seriously General Hux would wear this, very discreetly, while plotting murder on a galactic scale.
That sounds so fun!
SOTD is Fougere Nobile by Nobile 1942, beautiful notes
of tobacco, lavender and tonka. I’m glad I only spritzed once, what a powerhouse scent!
I must have gotten drunk last night and woke up in the Bahamas. Sunny and 70?! Enjoying while I can. Sotd is Mugler Aura, admittedly more Star Trek (original) than Star Wars. I smell like a green alien, who gets to kiss Captain Kirk!
“I must have gotten drunk last night and woke up in the Bahamas.”
I want what she’s having!!!
Me three!
I smell fabulous today, in VCA Bois d’Iris from the swapmeet. I just love this more and more every time I wear it. I thought I just liked it a lot, but now that I’ve worn it a number of times since the swapmeet, I’m pretty sure I love it.
It doesn’t quite relate to Star Wars, but I am currently reading Carrie Fisher’s The Princess Diarist. So I’m kind of on topic in life, if not in perfume?
I’m feeling kind of flat today. I look forward to reading about your joys, big and small!
Koyel, I’m wearing this today as well. It’s amazing, isn’t it? So thankful for generous swappers here on NST!
Currently (one of) my favorite iris(es)! 🙂
Hope tomorrow holds good things for u koyel, and u feel much better.
Thanks for your kind wishes, mayfly 🙂
Scent twins with both Koyel and springpansy! Cool!
It’s always exciting to have scent twins 🙂 especially when the CP is as broad as it is this week! I’m glad you made some kind of Star Wars connection with BdI.
Hi twin!
You smell great today. I like your sotd and your current read. 😀
I was unexpectedly very, very sad to hear of her passing a couple years ago. I didn’t realize how much I admired her until it was too late.
yes, I agree, and was completely blindsided with how sad I felt when she was gone.
Sometimes I re-watch bits of the series Catastrophe to catch Carrie Fisher being soooo funny.
I’d never heard of this series! I’ll have to look it up!
Breakfast of champions for me this AM–My horrible, no good, not fooling anyone, not coffee, and a ginormous slice of leftover chocolate birthday cake (from La Farine for my son’s 15th birthday: http://www.lafarine.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/geneve.jpg)
We saw the new Avengers movie yesterday. No spoilers . . . . except. . . . S E Q U E L stat!!!!
In my perennial favorite, CdG’s Stephen Jones, smelling like punk violets.
That cake looks so delicious! Craving for a slice…..
You smell great!
I think of that one as “cold lava violets.”
That cake was the right choice. Looks divine.
That cake!!! ????
Yes, that CAKE! Wow..
Great choice in Stephen Jones. Sadly my sample is finished.
Hugs, Koyel. I think you smell so freaking great! That one is a love for me too.
Thanks, KellyC! <3
Way off theme today in Kiss Me Tender. I find it’s almond-marshmallow-helioptrope vibe so lovely and perfect for manic Mondays.
I liked that one so much, but when I finished my decant and went looking for a bottle it was all gone and only KMIntense (which I like, but not as much as KMT) left on the website.
Ugh, I can’t type on my phone. The keyboard is so small that I always hit the wrong letter or insert extras. Plus, I can’t see what I am typing. The joys of getting older.
I’ll be happy to send you a decant Mals. If so, email me at llombardi underscore symbol 42 at the hawtmale.
SotD was Vitrum, by Sammarco
Smoky vetiver and rose.
That sounds so nice!
No Star Wars here today, I’m carrying over from the weekend topic. I was at the garden center yesterday and sniffed some dianthus, so today I’m wearing DSH Oeillets Rouges.
Yum!
Nice! I may just replenish my supply and hope it does not kill more atomizers. Mine kept gumming up.
In Slowdive today, longlasting and lovely.
SotD = Infusion d’Iris edt
hey-ho, NSTers, Infusion d’Iris is my scented secret weapon for making it through Monday.
I can imagine Mon Mothma wearing Infusion d’Iris on her days away from the Galactic Senate. I bet she smelled nice all the time. 🙂
This AM I spritzed on some vintage Coty Muguet de Bois that arrived on Sat but didn’t have time to test. Then I got distracted and busy so didn’t have time to pay much attention to it and it’s pretty much gone now except a vague floral soap smell.
Bummer. I rarely test while working for that reason. Maybe next time. ????
I usually don’t apply an unknown before going to work but I figured it wouldn’t be an offender or a scrubber(which is more my worry). Plus it was cold out today and buried under layers. But I did determine it didn’t smell too off, at least in the top notes. So that’s good!
That was the first perfume I ever received—a gift from my asthma doctor, and I loved it. I bought a bottle for myself a couple of years ago and don’t love it now, although it still smells of lilies of the valley to me. A friend thought it smelled Ike bug spray.
Nice (but odd) of your asthma doctor to buy you perfume! Ha! I definitely didn’t get big spray. The first whiff I got when I sprayed smelled like… LOTV. Green and a bit peppery. And then I lost track until the clean, soapy drydown. I may not have missed anything in the middle.
I had a calm day at work today (I was alone!) and tomorrow we have one of our two bank holidays that happen this week.
I’m planning on going to the thermal pool to relax a bit and then challenge myself with an obstacle course in a local rope park. It’s fun and excercise at the same time.
SotD is Jacques Fath Green Water
Freezing wind and rain today, staying snug in Tauer’s incense rose.
You smell fantastic! It’s not really a snug scent on me, but I find it sparkly and beautiful 🙂
I was a bit unsettled this morning and forgot perfume so I am wearing a bit of Diptyque Essences Insensees Jasmine from a sample at work…or however it is spelled. I actually have a FB of this one but it is a bulb atomizer which I really hate. I would try to liberate the juice to another bottle but not sure how to do it without damaging the contents potentially. Hard sigh. ????
I thought the bulb atomizer on that one was removable? No?
I checked again and it is not removable as far as I can tell.
Drat.
Histoires de Parfum 1926 (Turandot) today. The daffs are still out, and the cherry blossom is fighting through, and the trees have the light frill of the palest greens. Leaving the house this morning it was cold enough to create dragon breath, but by lunchtime there was some warmth in the sunshine. The combination of the slightly spicy narcissus & carnation layers, with juicy pear (fruit! on me?!) sitting on the soft ambery-incense made me awfully glad I succumbed to the wee 15ml bottle of this in Paris.
And I have finally taken the step of applying to drop one day a week of work to have more time on my dissertation–taking a couple of hours each morning to get an extra small slice of productive time, rather than trying to cram it all in to late evenings and weekends. Feels like a very sensible step. Fingers crossed it will be approved! (of course, I doubt my workload at work will actually shrink…)
Have a look at Ogden’s “Complete your dissertation or thesis in two semesters or less”. It just might Change Your Life…
thanks for the tip, Annie. I’ll look it up!
Not on theme (I think – I’m no good with Star Wars references at all and can barely remember how to spell “wookie”) in Tiare by OJ. There is a note in there that bugs me – on a sensitive day, it would be headache trigger. It’s this woody note. Is this ISO-E super or am I just imagining things? I found some of the other OJ fragrances had that woody note that I don’t love. Which is kind of annoying, since I bought all those samples based on the lovely Champaca – but only “woman” has turned out be something that I like so far. Grrmph.
However, I have finally filled my Fragrancenet cart and didn’t go with any Guerlain at all – I got a bottle of Seville a l’aube, and I found one more 10ml atomizer last night I could decant into – we’re looking at about $10 including shipping to CONUS. elke dot schmeling AHHt geemail…
IIRC, yes, iso e super and lots of it. Geza Schoen is fond of iso e super, I think. So am I, which I think is partly why I liked lots of the early OJs.
Put on some Oriental Lounge this morning and it’s pretty well gone. I usually only wear it around the house due to its evanescent nature, so I can re-spritz as needed.
Those kids look like they are waiting for the school bus! Not happy expressions at all.
SOTD = back in VC&A Bois d’Iris. I wanted to take advantage of this cool day to wear it again, before things really heat up.
No Star Wars connection originally, but after thinking about it, Padme Amidala probably smelled like this when she was the teen-aged queen of Naboo.
https://www.stellamccartney.com/experience/en/stellakidsby-ronan-gallagher/
Thanks for the link! I like the documentary style photos.
I took plenty of photos of my kids when they weren’t looking at the camera or weren’t cooperating with the photographer, lol. Some of their sullen-faced photos are among my favorites, and I even framed a couple.
Ok, I find those clothes stunningly hideous, but THOSE PUPPIES OMG.
Yeah, the puppies are the stars of the show. The look on that one little boy’s face as he hugs a puppy is beyond precious.
And now, for something completely different… has anyone here purchased from FragranceX? If so, was it a good experience, a bad one, or indifferent? I have seen a few interesting things on their site, but am a little wary of an unfamiliar vendor.
I’ve bought a couple things from them, no problems. I hate the cheap look of their website, though.
I’ve also bought from them and no issues to report.
Another one here that has bought many things from them without any problems.
I’m wearing The Body Shop Bowhanti, which I picked up at Marshall’s yesterday for the princely sum of $8.99. I like it. There just happened to be one open on the shelf so I could sneak a sniff. On Fragrantica, under “reminds me of”, it’s compared to Feminite du Bois, and while it is lighter than that, I can definitely smell a family resemblance.
Galop d’Hermes for me for a crisp Tuesday morning to br followed by a pretty warm day and a cool evening… Figuring out what to wear is the hardest part of my day at the moment LOL
Blustery day here,????went with old spice cologne, since I had to use the aftershave, brand new blade and I sill managed to nick my legs.hmmm????may the 4th, Star Wars, I might go with Penhaligons Tra la la, it definitely comes across as a drink served at a setting cantina, and the slight dusty note fits Tatooine well I think. ????happy day all!
SOTD = Lubin Idole EDT
I scored a partial bottle from a Basenotes splitter. It is my second wearing and I am loving the spicy woody not so rummy rum. I wore 3 sprays so as not to gas out myself.
This week, to participate in the Community project, I am wearing Out if this World perfumes. It could be the bottle, the fragrance, the name (lots to choose from in this category!), may tick more than one of these OR whatever the h-ll I want ????.
Mid-Atlantic folks, enjoy the cool while you can; we are in for scorching temps later this week. Waaah, I want it to be a coolish Fall all day everyday!
Excellent choice! I really love that one 🙂 I am sure I have a sample of it somewhere; must go dig it up.
Your ideal weather is my ideal weather as well! It looks like we’re not just perfume twins 🙂
Checking in on the late side–I’ve been down in Galveston and someone just brought me back home. (I still can’t drive.) I went to get my mail and found my neighbor’s gardenia bush is COVERED in blooms now!! Here’s a picture. Wow!
https://www.flickr.com/photos/94283635@N00/40915362185/in/photostream/
I don’t think they’d miss one if I picked it, do you?
That has to smell like heaven.
Yes, it’s unbelievable!
Huh, those gardenias look totally different from the ones we have. I didn’t know gardenias like the ones in your picture existed!
Second posting to ask: Has anyone tried the Different Company’s After Midnight? I want it exclusively because it is such a stunningly beautiful color. Does it smell as nice as it looks? Does it stain clothing? (They say it doesn’t, but I’m curious.)
When I went to my mailbox, I also discovered I had a package from Zoologist with two samples I’d ordered: Hyrax and Moth. Very naively, I sat down to my laptop to do some browsing and sprayed Hyrax all over my wrists and hands and neck. OH NO. This stuff is very potent and animal-odorific. Like when my big dog had gone out and rolled in something dead. That dog would surely love Hyrax. I’ve found a perfume that smells like Chewbacca.
Busy day today, training with my co-worker friend on a few of her accounts to lighten her load. I’m pretty tired from listening and watching.
I grabbed my rollerball of Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black; it’s pretty quiet and non-intrusive, just what i needed.
