Guerlain Meteorites Le Parfum ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 19 April 2018 24 Comments

Guerlain has launched Météorites Le Parfum, a new fragrance for women. Like Terracotta Le Parfum, Météorites Le Parfum is a limited edition inspired by the brand's cosmetic products, in this case, the Météorites powder pearls.

The notes for the powdery fruity floral include bergamot, apple, green notes, rose, violet, woods and white musk.

Guerlain Météorites Le Parfum available in 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

!!! Could this be a re-issue of their previous (gorgeous) Meteorites perfume?

With the addition of fruit-notes, it doesn’t appear so. It might be quite sweet.

The green apple note scares me. I wish it was the old Meteorites…. Should have bought that when I had the chance.

I really like Terracotta Le Parfum a lot. This one sounds less up my alley but you never know!

    I’m intrigued… I really like rose-violet-powder-scents. But the apple…????

If you enjoy rose/violet/powder, have you tried Bvlgari’s Pour Femme (the original?), beautiful combo of rose/violet/powder and quite pretty in the dry down. It can be found for a song at the discounters!

Love that one!, I’ve been meaning to get another bottle for a good few years now, it was a pre perfumista perfume for me.

OMG OMG OMG! *pant pant pant* This just might turn into my first ever full price blind buy!!!

(I don’t see it at the Guerlain website, though?) Any idea on the US distribution?

It is currently on their Japan site. No idea about the US, but Terracotta did get here eventually.

Sweet! Although I’m probably too lazy to actually call any stores and see if they have it. I may be going to Vegas in June, though!!

I just bought this today at Bergdorf Goodman – it smells nearly identical to the Météorites powder. I don’t detect any fruit. I do wish the bottle was a bit more elegant, but for the price I’ll take it.

Oh, wouldn’t a bottle as pretty as the Météorites tin be amazing?

It must be in-store only for now as I don’t see it on the BG website. Thanks for the mini review, though? And totally agree that they could do a lot with the design, as the powder pearls are so very pretty.

I did buy it in store. I was only in NYC for the day so it was a total impulse purchase when I saw it on the counter! I sprayed it again today and there is a hint of what might be fruitiness at first, but it fades almost immediately.
