Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Nectar ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 25 January 2018 14 Comments

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Nectar

Viktor & Rolf have launched Flowerbomb Nectar, a new fragrance for women. Flowerbomb Nectar is marketed as an "intense" version of 2005's Flowerbomb.

Fly into the heart of the flower and discover Flowerbomb Nectar, the newest addition to the Flowerbomb collection. Adding to the sensational floral scents and addictive qualities of the iconic fragrance, Flowerbomb Nectar has a feminine and sensual flower liqueur, with an explosion of floral notes and a surprising twist. A sensual floriental, the initial impression of the fragrance leads with fresh bergamot oil and rich sweet blackcurrant syrup. The heart of this fragrance unveils a feminine and enveloping white floral nectar of Sambac Jasmin and Orange flower combined with the sweet notes of Osmanthus, again ensuring the Flowerbomb unique trail. And finally, Nectar is even more sensual and luxurious thanks to an addictive gourmand sensation of warm spicy hues of tonka bean and creamy soft vanilla. Flowerbomb Nectar is the perfect perfume gift to surprise her for all occasions; a beautiful gesture for Birthdays, Valentine s Day or Mother s Day.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Nectar is available now at Debenhams in the UK, in 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum.

It looks like someone sat on a Flowerbomb bottle and squashed it.

Good, glad someone else had that thought. First they stretched it for Flowerbomb Bloom, then they squashed it for Nectar.

That’s like, one of my nightmares.

I imagine it like a snow cone with double extra syrup and powdered sugar on top.

I love the bottle, the notes and the original Flowerbomb, I bought when it first launched at Saks and loved it from first sniff. I am thrilled for this new edition and also about the new Coco Mademoiselle :) I already have La Petite Robe Noir Black Perfecto which I love also :)

I sniffed Bloom and Nectar for the first time today.

Bloom smells like your average light, safe, sweet fruity-floral. and I wouldn’t even know it was a Flowerbomb flanker if I sniffed it blind because it smells that basic.

having said that, I liked Bloom a whole lot more than Nectar. the sillage and strength of Nectar are impressive but gave me a headache and I wanted to vomit. I don’t always enjoy bergamot, so maybe it’s that what I didn’t like about Nectar. or the orange flower?(which I usually do like). but there’s something in there that is so offensive I wanted to scrub it off right away. there is a syrupy sweet sugary honey-ness all the way through which I found too sickly sweet. and I used to be one to love sweet sugary perfumes, nothing was too sweet for me. my tastes have changed since.

Neither of the flankers compare to the original Flowerbomb EDP. however, the original Flowerbomb EDT and Flowerbomb Extreme are worth sniffing and Viktor & Rolf should have never veered away from this original trio.

not to mention the Bloom and Nectar bottles look stupid.
