Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Femme ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 2 January 2018 15 Comments

Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Femme

Gucci has launched Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Femme, a new flanker to 2010's Gucci Guilty. Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Femme is the counterpart to 2017's Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Homme.

I wanted a blackberry note that would make you dream upon smelling it. It’s magical and it’s connected to nature, as well as to emotion. There is romance in this perfume, an aura of pure, free love, ALESSANDRO MICHELE

Additional notes include bergamot, rose, cypress, woods, amber and patchouli.

Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Femme is available in 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum.

Update: Guilty Absolute Pour Femme was developed by perfumer Alberto Morillas, and "blends three ‘hero’ ingredients: blackberry, Bulgarian rose and goldenwood with bergamot, patchouli and ambergris to create a deep, musky scent." (via moodiedavittreport)

Sounds like I will need to sample this ASAP.
This is yet another mind boggling decision by Gucci to release what sounds like a lovely and innovative scent as a flanker and not a pillar fragrance.
On top of that they chose the Gucci Guilty masculine bottle for the Absolute Pour Femme”!
I want to be a fly on the wall during the project team discussions at Coty now that Gucci is no longer part of P&G and they are deciding to take risk.
I wish they would wipe out all the Gucci Guilty scents and only keep Absolute Pour Homme and Absolute Pour Femme as the two Gucci Guilty fragrances.

Gucci if you’re reading this please (please…) consider re-releasing the amazing Gucci Pour Homme from 2013

It’s just cheaper to do it this way, I guess. Kevin loved the men’s version so will give this one a shot even though I did not love Guilty.

Kevin’s review inspired my to try the men’s version (I didn’t like the original Guilty either) and I loved it!

I hope the women’s version is as lively as the men’s ;-)

Sorry I meant from 2003. Has it really been that long?!

Ah, and that’s the version of Pour Homme that I love!

One of the few mainstream fragrance releases that I am tempted to try. I even like what Alessandro said about it.

But I want them to have matched the gold lettering on this one with a gold top. Oh well!

The blackberry note makes me curious.

Gucci Guilty Pour Homme had several mentions in best of 2017 posts. Perhaps this one will attract some love too.

Ooh, this sounds good. So much for New Year’s Resolutions. I have and like Gucci Guilty Extreme.

I love the men’s version of this, one of my most worn of 2017 and the best release of the year imo.
I’m very curious about the women’s version, and I’m always in favor of a big berry note.

I was looking forward to a new (not a flanker) fragrance release from Alessandro. I feel like he really has a grand vision for Gucci.
