Happy Giving Tuesday! (Also, French Toast Day.) What fragrance are you wearing?
I'm keeping warm this morning with Estee Lauder Sensuous, by Annie Buzantian.
Reminder: on 12/1, wear something by Annie Buzantian, Honorine Blanc or Daphné Bugey.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2017, where I'll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

Sipping chai tea this morning and listening holiday music
My father in law made me a breakfast of champions this morning: dosa with potato chaat and sambar soup
Commando today since I am planning on using my gift card at the Guerlain boutique.
Your FIL is the best and I want your breakfast 😀
Enjoy the pampering!
I am so happy that you want my breakfast, before posting I thought you might all think I am a bit crazy for eating these dishes in the morning! Not a traditional American breakfast..but you stay fuller for longer and more satisfied
I do not think you’re crazy! I LOVED the breakfast in Korea. It was just more of what they eat other times of day- rice, kimchi, dwaijibulgogi (like spicy pork) etc. So I definitely wish I had some of your breakfast this morning!
Good food is good any time of day!
Lovely in-law to make you breakfast and tea! Doe she share his chai recipe? Have fun at Guerlain.
sorry, he
He doesn’t with me! But I keep trying. He doesn’t even make it in front of me, so I can’t spy. I will keep asking…
ha ha he knows he has a good thing
That is a very special breakfast. Your father in law sounds like he is a sweetheart.
Breakfast sounds amazing. Home made dosa …..
There is nothing like homemade dosa hot off the pan with ghee
Yum. I love dosas and I’d happily eat that for breakfast! My husband makes his own ghee-so much better tasting to me than butter. Your FIL sounds like a charm! Enjoy your Guerlain day!
Sounds like a wonderful breakfast. Waiting eagerly to hear what you get at the Guerlain boutique. Wish they would bring back Iris Ganache.
Enjoy the boutique! I look forward to hearing about your excursion!
What a dear FIL, I don’t know those dishes, but I love a savory breakfast!
That breakfast sounds awesome!
Your breakfast sounds absolutely incredible. I would love to start the day with a meal that yummy!
Have a great time at the spa.
I had to google your breakfast items, and then went down a mini rabbit hole of Indian food blogs. Half an hour later….your breakfast sounds lovely!
Have fun at the Guerlain boutique. Can’t wait to hear what you bring home. ????
Wearing Chanel No 19 EdP because KellyC mentioned it yesterday and I was craving for it this morning. Day of mettings and aggravations and No. 19 in any formulation is good to face those days…
No. 19 is magical. You smell wonderful and poised!
Thank you!
You smell beautiful. No. 19 is perfect for any time of the year.
Thank you!
You smell fabulous – just huff your wrists while sitting in those boring meetings or being aggravated, and you’ll feel better instantly.
I will! 🙂
You smell fabulous of course!
Thank you! Glad to know you will get the EdP for the holidays 🙂
At least you are “armored up” for the day’s aggravations! Good luck!
I survived. No.19 was an excellent companion! 🙂
I followed the links to the 3 perfumes of this weeks challenge. I am sadly without a single scent from them. Back to one of my everyday standbys Juliette Has a Gun, Miss Charming
I only have one so I am saving it
Me, too!
I don’t either, oh well. You smell great 🙂 I’m wearing Shalimar edc today, one of my usual suspects.
I was close to wearing a vintage shalimar I found at an estate sale
I’m also without anything to wear for this week’s theme. I find that kind of amazing – such long lists, from three separate perfumers, and … nothing at all in my arsenal. So many perfumes, so little time. 🙂
me too! nothing at all from any of them!
I really thought if I picked 3 perfumers, that would increase the odds of people having at least scent. Sorry!
I want those l’Artisan Parfumeur bee bottle perfumes!! Someday, then, i hope to be able to participate in this week’s challenge 🙂
I have two, and might have a sample of a third.
Drinking rose petal black tea.
SOTD MFK Feminin Pluriel. I enjoy the opening with violet and iris, and the drydown with vetiver. Lots of clean musk overall, like many other MFK fragrances.
I am not familiar with a lot of MFK perfumes. I loved reading your description of Feminin Pluriel. Very nice!
I am wearing Bath & Bodyworks Birch & Argan today. It is very cozy and comforting.
That sounds really good. Would you say it’s a woodsy gourmand? I need to get to a B&BW.
It is really good. The website describes it as a blend of birch, argan, vanilla and rum. I smell some clove in here also.
I purchased the body lotion and perfumed oil. I think I may go back for the matching body wash.
I got the body lotion and the body wash and they are both great. The body wash is very creamy. I really like it!
The Amber and Argan and Chestnut and Argan are also good. The Chestnut is pretty gourmand. The Birch is the best. I think the argan line in general is pretty good!
These sound really good! Haven’t been to a BBW in ages, but I love scented body oils. On my list now, thanks!
Me too. I have a couple of coupons burning a hole in my pocket.
Wow, that Birch & Argan sounds really nice!
I have bittersweet memories of The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Shower Gel. It was the last body wash used by my dad the day before he passed away. I handed the aide a brand new bottle for his towel bath. His third death anniversary is coming up on December 12th and there is not a day that I don’t miss him. Every generous and self-less action I take is in his memory, from the lessons he taught through his words AND actions.
Hajusuuri,
My father loved fragrance. A hug was guaranteed to smell like Aramis. He is gone 10 years now. Not a day goes by my sister and I don’t text or email to each other “as dad would say”
I’m sorry you miss him. The more we live, the more bitter and sweet it is.
Scent of the Biopsy – Guerlain L’Heure Bleu Extrait and lots of it.
So now, I wait, but I will smell wonderful doing so.
Still thinking of you! And yes, you smell wonderful.
passing you a cup of chai
Fingers crossed for you.
Yoy do smell wonderful. Hope all goes well!
you smell so elegant, pls keep us posted
Best of luck! Breathe deep and slow and think of very good things✌????
Best of luck. You smell amazing!
Waiting is hard but I wish you peace and good news.
YOu smell lovely. Hope it is calming while you wait.
I hope all goes well.
Hoping for the best for you!
Sending positive energy to you. You smell incredible.
Ah, the perfect scent to keep you grounded and comforted. Am wishing the best results for you!
I hope you get good results and that you get them very soon. ????
Keeping my fingers crossed <3
I hope that your wait is short and your results are good news.
Thinking of you, hannahmom.
Sampling Poppy from DSH Perfumes. This is a cozy, fruity scent that I will almost certainly eventually own. I appear to be on track to actually make a minor dent in samples by trying more than I have acquired this year
Good for you, wish I could say the same!
Good morning Y’all….
Wearing ELdO Fat Electrician, and in vetiver/chestnut/cream HEAVEN. This is such a warm, cozy scent! The chestnut cream gives off a Christmas vibe too….
I didn’t buy a thing on Cyber Monday! No inspiration as of yet….
You smell great!
You smell awesome!
I wrote “y’all” today in my comment which is not how I speak, but I like the word! Was wondering where I picked it up. Must have caught your comment skimming NST this morning. Y’alls are contagious!
Being from Alabama, I do say and write y’all. I’ve tried to tame it in New Mexico, but asas, at 40 it may be useless!
I have been known to use y’all, and I’m Canadian 😛
the second person plural is very useful, I may no longer live in Texas, but I appreciate adopting it when I was there
I am now a y’all addict, having lived in South Carolina for five years. My students laugh because I still also use the Canadian “eh”, often in the same sentence as “y’all”.
Just please do not say Yous.
No! Stop it! I CANNOT BUY ANYTHING ELSE. Stop tempting me!
I’m evil.
I got a Sephora $25 off $50 purchase coupon in my email today, starts 11/30.
It may be for rouge first, though.
Fat Electrician in the smallest bottle is $52.
Easily free in perfumemath.
Just sayin’, y’all.
STOP IT.
(Seriously? So it would be a FE bottle for $27? Crap crap crap.)
This is BAD. You are MEAN.
I guess I’m kind of safe because I don’t have a coupon. Hmmm.
Well, rats. I just checked the Sephora site, and the little bottles of FE have disappeared. I just purchased one a coupe of weeks ago. ????
Sorry for the spin!
Sigh. Perhaps that is for the best 🙁
Fat Electrician is on my FB wish list. It’s gonna stay there for the time being…
Tihota today. I don’t usually do out and out vanilla, but it’s rainy and very worried about Mr. SP., so I chose full-on comfort. He sees neurologist next week for some worrisome symptoms.
And it’s just a sample, but I think that’s enough.
That sounds really stressful. Wishing for the best outcome for him. Hope the Tihota is helping some.
Hope things turn out well. Neuro issues are so worrisome!
Tihota is fantastic for bringing some peaceful feelings.
Hoping for excellent news for Mr. SP.
Uncertainty is the worst. Hope nothing serious.
Hoping for peace and good news for you two as well.
We are worried with you. Hang in there.
Sending well wishes for Mr. SP and for you to have peace of mind.
Sending good vibes for your beloved.
Sending you and Mr. SP positive and healthy vibes!
I hope all is well.
Wishing good health for your husband.
I hope your husband’s appointment goes well, and that you get some peace while waiting for the appointment and the results.
I hope things turn out well!
Hope you get some answers soon
Oof, I hope you end up having worried about nothing serious….
Fingers crossed for good news! I hope that you can get a little peace of mind…
Eeeek! Wishing him the best.
Oh, I hope you get some good answers, and as soon as possible.
Back at work today after more than 2 weeks – longest vacation I have had (outside of maternity leave) since my teens. Having a hard time getting my brain in gear. SOTD is Le Labo Rose 31 by Daphné Bugey. It’s very cumin-y this morning, which I like but enabler husband does not. I will enjoy this while he is at work!!
so. hard. baby steps!
Survived day one!
I’m also wearing Rose 31 today. I’m lucky the cumin in it is muted enough for me to wear it to work. ????
I love this one. Some days it can be extra cumin-y. I have had one wrist smell like heavy cumin and the other not, which could just be my body chemistry reacting with it.
I may have to wear that this week.
I am wearing Une Rose, because I remembered that no one is stopping me from wearing Une Rose.
I love your reasoning!
you’re free! And you smell wonderfully!
Ha! Perfect!
That’s the perfect reason. And you smell divine.
I think I missed the story behind this…?
No story, I just sometimes forget that there’s no actual rule that you can only wear special perfumes on special occasions!
Oh, I see! Whew, ok. That is kind of how I feel about wearing Mohur, which is my “fanciest” perfume.
Oh, that one is enchanting.
SOTD is OJ Woman, sprayed somewhat lavishly for much the same reason as Regina’s above. 🙂
Oooh love that one. I can’t wear it in summer but I must retrieve it now!
you smell wonderful!
Love that one! On my FB Christmas wish list!
Twins! 🙂
I just got a blind decant of that one, as it gets so much love here, and I love it. You smell fabulous!
Opium Fleur de Shanghai for a day of chores and errands.
this is becoming your signature this fall season!
It’s one of the few perfumes of which I’d get a full bottle if I could find one without a crazy price tag!
Arielle Shoshanna – might have to go for a full bottle when my decant runs dry!
AS is delucious and full bottle worthy for sure. You smell good!
thanks! AS makes me happy, some other perfume I theoretically love, but this is real!
Sounds like I need to try this one 🙂
And the bottle is just so darned cute!
I LOVE that teapot! Almost makes me want to give up coffee…almost????
SOTD is the lovely Taklamakan from a even more lovely NSTer. Rainy (surprise!) and cool today but I have a bunch of indoor stuff to do anyway, so it’s all good. Starting my day at the dentist for a follow up after the banging, drilling, and sprinkling of cadaver bone in my jaw last week. He’s a nice DDS, so hopefully will not gas him out with my prodigious application this morning.
Cheers, brush and floss twice daily to prevent cadaver bone being placed in your jaw. It helps if you have good dental DNA, too! ????
The other week my husband’s surgeon mentioned the need for bone grafts when he does the next hip surgery. He looked really shocked when I asked if the bone came from “dead people”. I think he may have thought that I thought he kept a cupboard full of bones in his office for such occassions….
Haha! Sometimes people can self-donate the bone, taken from elsewhere in the body. I think of your husband often because it really comes close to home in that I used to mountain bike regularly and have crashed and burned so many times! I could easily have been as injured as you hubby. Hope he is recovering slowly but surely! What an long ordeal for all of you.
Thanks Deva. He has a date for his next surgery – the hip replacement 15 Dec and then things will start to get better.
I had spine surgery almost 10 years ago and got a wee spot of bone added to the curative mix (along with a metal plate and screws, but there you are). I am quite proud of it.
You wear it well! I said a little prayer of thanks to who’s ever bone I’m sporting, although MD says that over time, my own bone will completely replace the cadaver bone as healing and growth occur. So cool! It’s just the $ that bums me out…
Just got my own implant, after a surprisingly long period of waiting for the bone graft to take, heal and grow. I am one of those unfortunates with not-so-great dental DNA. Throwing some health and wellness thoughts your way!
Thanks! How long was your wait? MD is telling me 5-6 months, which seems quick to me…
I think it took about 8 months for mine.
I think about your recent dental adventures every night when I brush & floss. Having braces in high school made me a regular flosser!
I’m wearing Azemour from a sample. I’ve never worn it before, but I now know why it gets so much love.
I wore it last week and had the exact same reaction.
I love my little decant of that one! Great in the hot weather, never tried in the cool. Need to check it out.
Yay.
Continuing my random.org project with L de Lolita Lempicka. (#214) I’m assuming that at some point I’ll need to go for a 2nd choice (perhaps when Jungle L’Elephant comes up on a work day!)
Of all the tracking and reporting that some do, I really like your random.org take on it. I should do it myself but completely lack the motivation. Every morning must be a bit more interesting for you, checking out what random.org will choose for you.????
I just started this little project when I was looking at my trays of bottles and feeling like I hadn’t worn so many of them in ages. I am also starting to keep track of last date worn, it should be interesting to see how well the random selection fills the spreadsheet in!
I’m wearing Coco today. Hadn’t worn it in a long time so I decided it needed some attention.
I wore it last week, also after a long break, and was amazed how great it smelled.
You smell wonderful!
SOTM is a dab of Iris Ganache from a sample that I got when TPC had their pre-black Friday sale. Love. I wish I had re-tried it when it was still available at NM, but I fell in love with Angelique Noire and Cuir Beluga instead (no regrets on either, but I would have gotten much more mileage out of Iris Ganache than Oriental Brulant). Ordered a decant with the Cyber Monday sale and just hope it can last until Guerlain comes to its senses and brings back Iris Ganache.
I was so very lucky to score a PB when a friend had it for sale.
Amazing stuff
Your wish has come true!: 😀
http://www.monsieurguerlain.com/2015/09/iris-ganache.html
Yeah, now I just have to score a trip to Paris sometime!
Maybe Shop France, Inc. can pick it up for you!
Hm, there’s a thought!
I heard the Paris store has already sold out!
Hopefully they restock!
I am wearing Seville a l’Aube because I hadn’t worn it in just forever.
And you smell great!
Thank you all for the get well wishes yesterday! 🙂
I think the worst is over, I am still coughing but my throat is not that painful anymore. And (upside) at least i dont have a stuffy nose. So yay, I can still smel!!!! 😀
SotD is Ormonde Woman
So good!
Ormonde Woman is perfection. You smell great!
Thank you!
Hurray for being able to smell and enjoy your perfumes!
Was despairing that I would have not a single fragrance from the perfumers for this week’s community project. But I indeed have teensy samples somewhere of the Bergamot and Neroli Labos, two scents I am looking forward to wearing.
Joining y’all who are wearing cozy winter wonders. Today’s is Bois d’Ascese.
You smell great, love that one.
I love the Bergamote, I might wear that Friday. The Neroli I never loved but I should try it again.
What a dreaful weather today. Cold, windy & rainy.
I’m wearing Gromoire by Anatole Lebreton.
A wise choice for a day like today. A little bit of incense never killed nobody.
In fact, a little bit if incense does a lot of good! I bet you smell delicious.
I’ve come to the end of my JM mimosa and cardamon and now I face the problem of whether to replace it or try a different mimosa scent ( which would mean an exciting blind buy). I’m contemplating L’artisan ‘Mimosa pour Moi but it seems to have a short life span and maybe be more green than creamy ( Bois de Jasmin review) .I have tried Prada Infusion Mimosa but it was a bit faint. I’m leaning towards L’artisan…but is it any good? Wearing Furze in the meantime.
I’m a huge mimosa fan (I did 4 (four) posts on the search for the perfect mimosa topic on my blog, if you’re curious), and Mimosa and Cardsmom is one of my favorites, I wouldn’t replace it with L’Artisan’s one. Have you tried Une Fleur de Cassie? It’s an interesting one, and I enjoy wearing it from time to time but it smells… dirtier (?) than M&C. SSS’s newest Bee’s Bliss has a lot of mimosa in it.
Good luck in your search!
I will read your blog immediately. Thanks for the help.
The new Bee’s Bliss is wonderful, but I have no idea if I am smelling mimosa in it.
I agree! Wonderful! And so surprising because I’m a floralphobe. The dry down lasts for-EVER on me and is excruciatingly beautiful!
Well, if it leaves bees in a state of bliss it must be good whatever it is.
The Diptyque Essences Insensées Mimosa is excellent if you can find a bottle – it was a limited edition sadly. It has a lovely beeswax note alongside the mimosa.
Good morning, everyone. I’m wearing a happy smile, a relaxed expression, and three kittens. They have passed out draped over various bits of me, after a strenuous hour of fetching Peggy Sue (Titus), dragging blankets all over the apartment (Alexander),and conjuring juju (good, I hope) with the fur of destiny (Eric). I wish I could stay still all day so that this mutual love-fest could last, but work calls. Bother and alas.
I’m wearing Ninfeo Mio today. It’s already warm and rather humid, and the sweet, cool sharpness of NM is cutting through the haze beautifully. I sometimes do wear this perfume in winter, but I have to say it shows it’s best side in summer heat. It’s dancing in the air around me like a sparkling rain shower.
Yesterday was A Day. I hope today will be just a day. Sometimes ordinary is the ultimate blessing, especially if it comes with three diverse kittens. Be well, all.
NM is just a beauty in hot weather. I find it very clarifying, if that makes any sense at all. Somehow makes me feel as if my old boggy brain is a bit sharper and more alert when I wear it.
Your SOTD and the kittens sound wonderful.
I’m in Sacrebleu Intense which I took off of another NSTer’s hands! I really enjoy it- it reminds me a lot of L’Heure Bleue. It is indeed intense on me, though. One spray was plenty for work!
I decided to go with the No. 19 EdP for my Christmas wish list. I know I love that one. And as everyone said, even though I’m likely to LOVE all of the iterations given my love of the EdP, I can always ask for the parfum or the EdT after I’ve had a chance to sniff them.
Great choice!
Good for you for getting what you know you love, rather than being tempted by the latest bright & shiny thing.
My week just started today and I’m already exhausted. Note to self: never ever be involved in two different shows that have the same prod week. Geez, at the age of 30, after a lifetime of performing, you’d think I know better.
Mohur is doing its best to keep me sane and stable, but that’s a big ask of a perfume.
Have fun with the performances! You’ll smell incredible even if you’re insane and unstable. 😉
I’m wearing Rose 31 by Daphne Bugey for a rainy Tuesday. For a bonus I put the body lotion on my legs. On me the perfume is mainly a rose and cedar blend, leaning a bit more masculine than feminine. It’s nice and pleasant, but it doesn’t really excite me or evoke any strong response.
You know, I have the same response to that one. I think it is one of Le Labo’s top sellers. After I sampled it I wondered if it was the idea of a Le Labo rose, more than the actual scent that made it so popular. There are so many interesting, not your granny’s rose perfumes out there…
Exactly. I’d much rather wear Tobacco Rose, Calligraphy Rose, Mohur, one of SSS’s roses, PPC Rose Boheme…I could go on. And those are just the more “serious” roses. For fun I like Rose Jam and Mancera Roses Vanille.
And MFK does all sorts of great things with rose under his own name and for other companies. (I like all the roses you listed but had to look up PPC Rose Boheme. Sounds lovely!)
After wearing it all day my favorite stage is the middle. There it’s spices and resins. Now I’m in the late dry down, which is a tame musk.
Vintage Bois d’Arménie… wonderful stuff. I love benzoin.
I think I heard a blogger (Katie Puckrick maybe?) refer to bezoin lovers as “benzoin bunnies” and I totally get that! I love it too.
you smell wonderful. I’d love to smell your version, I’m sure it’s incredible.
It’s so much richer than the watered-down stuff they’re selling now.
It is indeed wonderful stuff! I have only a few drops left of the vintage stuff, which I treasure. Enjoy yours for me.
All this talk of Benzoin and d’Arménie… My Pavlovian response was to order papier papier d’ Armenie. I hit the payment button before I even realized what I was doing! Well, t’is the season.
Well, at least the papers are cheap!
Testing Fatih Sultan Mehmed by Fort & Manle. This is a beautiful green floral scent. It would go on my FB list if it had better longevity. I’ve already gone through half of my two ml decant in two wearings. Too bad because it is lovely and my favorite of the range.
I’m wearing Ys Uzac Satin Doll, which is a lovely gentle tuberose iris. My cold seems to be on the way out and I’m beginning to actually enjoy my perfumes again.
Good to hear that you are feeling better.
I’m wearing memory motel, the scent that made me get the Nuit Nomade samples, and it’s great. Not sure if I love it 85 Euros much, but any Annick Menardo fan might want to try it.
Ooh, I was looking that scent up this morning! I am so very intrigued. Wish it was easily available in the USA (or is it, and I’m just missing something?).
I just ordered it from their website–the samples came with a cute handwritten note offering me 10 Euros off if I bought a bottle, and came relatively quickly to Canada…
Ack…very busy at work this week.
I am wearing Vanitas Profumum Roma which is great stuff. A sweet vanilla concoction of sorts.
I am all about vanilla right now. Most recently, I was all about iris you may recall but now I have turned my attention to vanilla. I bought some Warm Vanilla Body Butter at Trader Joe’s the other night and thinking about trying Tihota next.
You smell great! I looove Vanitas. And Tihota too. They are tops.
Yes, Vanitas is somewhat of a changeling…not linear to my nose…very interesting.
Have you tried Casmir? I’d classify it as a vanilla, but with a lot of other stuff in it.
Not yet, will put it on the list to try….thanks for the recommendation!
I have nothing for this week’s project. I used to have a Le Labo Lys sample but I gave it away. Today I’m wearing MFK Amyris Femme, an undemanding, pretty scent that requires nothing from me.
Hey Foxbins, I think I stole that sample from you via Waterdragon. The perfume underground!! (I liked it, but not enough to hanker for it. Still happily working my way through my small bottle of Ylang 49.)
🙂
I’m leaning towards rose today, but not too overwhelming for the office, so am thinking Rose Alexandrie would be just perfect.
I’m another without any perfumes by this week’s perfumers.
I have two perfumes for this weeks challenge. Today though i chose Santal Carmin, such a classy, calming scent, without trying to hard.
SOTD Rodin pure perfume (jasmine and neroli).
I have it too! You smell lovely.
Yes, it is a lovely scent.
I’m wearing Lonesome Rider today, just because I felt it matched the color of my sweater. (Midnight blue). I got 4 perfume compliments from students, so I’m very happy with my choice.
I tried Parfum Sacre yesterday thanks to a wonderfully generous NSTer, and it was an amazing experience. The first 5 minutes were the “Oh no, what have I done?” feeling I used to get after spritzing my mom’s Chanel No 5 when I was a child, and realizing after spritzing that she would be able to smell what I’d been up to – Parfum Sacre had a lovely but hefty maturity to it. But after 5 minutes, I was surrounded by a glorious gentle but affirming scent. What a beauty!
In a sad state of affairs, I apparently cannot smell the Jasmine in Parfum Sacre. Of course, the type of Jasmine my nose amps up is the indolic type which registers as moth balls. Glad you enjoyed it!
Doing a week of Ambers as I enjoy the ‘disipline’ of the Community Projects but have nothing at all that can be used for this week’s theme.
SOTD is Annick Goutal “Ambre Sauvage”.
Top: patchouli and amber;
Mid: pink pepper and lavender;
Base: iris and vanilla absolute.
It has the ‘usual’ warm comfortable amber scent, but is kind of pedestrian. That is, it doesn’t evolve much and the notes are – I don’t know – ‘bland’ is a little harsh? But ‘not special enough for me to care very much’ is probably what I mean.
My programme is descending into absolute chaos – I mentioned that half the team is resigning, and over the weekend one of the intended replacements blew a gasket (after just a week on site) and just emailed to say he wouldn’t be back. In the short term I can increase my effort, but it’s not sustainable to do the work of 3 people (and nor shall I really try to do that in full; I just hope to keep the most important plates spinning for another week)
OH no about the devolving situation!
So sorry, that sounds really stressful.
Testing a sample of Bogue Maai, which I’ve had for I-don’t-know-how-long. Verdict? Love at first sniff! This one is going on the Christmas list for sure.
And for more good news, I’m back in the Eastern time zone again! ????
Welcome back to the Eastern time zone!
Thank you, Jalapeño!
Maai is a wonder!
Absolutely.
Anywhere close to me because, as you know, I am the center of the universe? Heh, just kidding!
Yes, back to Boston! Well, Cambridge to be precise. I will be sure to look you up on my next visit. 🙂
You smell amazing! I love Maai
Gorgeous weather in my part of the world today… sunny, light breezes, and right around 60F. I am appreciating this sort of weather while it lasts.
SOTD = the accidental sample from my sample stash, Chopard’s Casmir. I meant to order the item right next to it from a decanter a while back. Whoops! The sample smells similar to my not new, maybe 15 years old bottle, but it is sweeter. If this is a recent reformulation, it has been kindly done, IMO.
Totally agree about Casmir. I don’t notice much difference except maybe a little less projection with the current version.
SOTD = Tom Ford F-cking Fabulous
Yep, bottle arrived yesterday. Did a test spritz last night and full on wear today. Verdict – if you like tonka, vanilla and almonds, you need to try this. It’s not revolutionary by any stretch of the imagination. It reminds me of a more masculine non-niche quick get it to market combination of SHL 777 Taklamakan and Khol de Bahrein (heresy! but I am just comparing it to these 2) with amped up tonka, caramelly vanilla and barely there iris. It is very wearable and office friendly.
I still have up to 10 mLs for a split available if anyone is interested. I am also open to a swap for a donation to Hurricane Maria / Puerto Rico relief. Dibs here and email me. Thanks. (higher gauge atomizer, recycled packaging: $27.86 for 5mL or $52.01 for 10).
Atrocious driving – a school bus was stopped at a light. A good 10 seconds before the light turned green (and people had the countdown to cross the street), the driver ran the red light because the NEXT light at the NEXT intersection had turned green! It could have been a gory accident in the making! Seriously, bus driver? You need to get your license pulled!
I will take 5 f-ucking mls please! Will email you shortly.
Sorry meant to omit the “u”. 🙁
At least you had the “-” but maybe Robin will disemvowel the comment 🙂
dibs on the other 5 ml!
In Rose 31 this afternoon, but started the day in Bel Respiro. I hope everyone is having a lovely evening. ????
In Chanel Boy today, can’t get enough of that washed out/pastel fougere, so so good.
