They’re expected to completely sell out

Posted by Robin on 17 November 2017 11 Comments

Kim Kardashian made $10 million in just ONE DAY of selling perfume worldwide ... and incredibly not even a single customer got a whiff yet.

Kim's fragrance hit the online world Wednesday morning. Customers got to choose between 3 fragrances -- Crystal Gardenia, Crystal Gardenia Oud and Crystal Gardenia Citrus. Only 300,000 bottles were produced and they're expected to completely sell out by Thursday night.

Not surprised, as I saw posters on Facebook talking about blind buying these. I guess her honey scent is well-liked.

I personally dislike the whole famous for being famous Kardashian circus and wouldn’t give any of them $1.

I would not be surprised if it was true, but I also would not be surprised if it was not true and this was a sales ploy.

If it is true, it is very interesting since she did not appear to do that well with her fragrances when they were sold in stores, and as far as I know, her prior fragrances (that she also sold on her own website) did not do this well either. Which would mean she found the exact right mix of “limited edition-ness” + social media frenzy to spur fast sales.

The more I think about this, the less likely I think it’s true that individuals shelled out $ for bottles of perfume totalling 10M- in 1 day, there’s probably some creative accounting going on – like counting distribution, etc.

I think it’s possible. There’s just no way to know — I doubt there was any investigative journalism here.

Yeah, there are a lot of people in the world, so I guess it’s possible – but it makes me happy to think that it’s not true, ha.

Yes — will be more impressive if she pulls it off a second time, once people have had a chance to live with the first set. Then again, changing the fragrances every time might help, and that is apparently the plan.

    Ug… that’s a lot of money.

Still, TMZ shouldn’t have written “made”, there’s production and advertising and taxes.

Caron’s total worldwide sales of perfume in 2016 amounted to less than $10 million.
