Scent Event at Macy’s

Posted by Robin on 24 March 2017 Leave a Comment

The Macy's Scent Event starts on 29 March, with events at 500+ stores and a number of special events at the Herald Square location:

The Scent Event has become a twice-yearly omni experience meant to educate the Macy’s customer on the variety of fragrance choices available to them.

In collaboration with The Fragrance Foundation and four leading fragrance houses: Firmenich, Givaudan, Symrise and International Flavors & Fragrances, Macy’s Herald Square will debut an interactive and dynamic consumer focused in-store experience. Through a unique and immersive pop-up fragrance exhibit produced by leading retail display studio RPG, Macy’s customers are provided with an opportunity to educate, explore and immerse themselves in the world of scent.

The core of the experience, “Match Your Mood,” invites customers to engulf themselves in sensory pods of scent, video and ambient sound. Interactive scent panels reinforce the Match Your Mood experience.

[...] The following perfumers will make personal appearances at Macy’s Spring 2017 Scent Event at Macy’s Herald Square:

Thursday, March 30th 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.: Adriana Medina and Jacques Huclier, Givaudan

Friday, March 31st 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.: David Apel and Christelle Laprade, Symrise

Thursday, April 6th 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.: Frank Vöelkl and Ilias Ermenidis, Firmenich

Friday, April 7th 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.: Laurent Le Guernec and Celine Barel, IFF
