Hey, it's Almost-Friday! Plus, Popcorn Day and Janis Joplin's birthday. What fragrance are you wearing?
I'm in Annick Goutal Mandragore.
Reminder: on 1/20, wear one of your "top 10 of winter" fragrances (unless it's summer where you are, in which case wear one of your "top 10 of summer" scents).
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2017, where I'll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.
Eau des Sens…I needed this today ๐
and yesterday made me realize that SDV and EdM are similar enough that I could go with a full bottle of the latter and be satisfied if I ever needed a full bottle because the price is right (that is for you, hajusuuri!!!)
What’s EdM?
Eau de Missions….
Aha. I thought Eau des Merveilles and I couldn’t see any similarity! Yes, I have Eau des Missions and agree. (I just think of it as Le Couvent – Missions.)
LOL! I know my nose is off but it’s not THAT off ๐
If you get a bottle of EDM, I know someone who might want to buy a 5-mL decant off of you…. (I reeeeally want to try it without getting a FB of it, but it sounds great!)
Koyel – since I am STILL on a no buy it may be a very long time until I get a FB ๐
I’ll send you some!
Ooooh thanks! I’l send you an e-mail ๐
If you get a bottle of EDM, please tell me how you managed to pry the cap off so that you can get the sprayer in. So far, I’ve had no luck. Grrrrrr……
Been eyeing my roller ball of this one — really think I need to wear this again soon.
Smelling good!
it is perfect for a dreary day ๐
Angel muse, very cosy on a frosty day.
Nice!
I forgot to report back about the chanel crayons. I ended up trying a bunch but didn’t like anything so just bought the regular rouge coco lipstick.
Layering Cristalle au Vert with Shalimar
Going to check out some of those Chanel crayon lipsticks and do some sniffing around Bergdorf’s, and then meeting up with a friend at Maison Kayser for something sweet. Another vacation day.
Was wondering if anyone has every tried the Dame soliflore collection?
Happy Belated to Buddha ๐
I have tried the originals of the soliflore collection…Mimosa, Gardenia, Tuberose,Osmanthus, Rose, Narcissus, etc….I think he added a few more after those…I got the travel sprays and loved them …I thought they were well done and the price is right….used about half of the decants of each and then passed them on to my mother so she could enjoy them too….
and eat something sweet for me ๐
and no more lippies-LOL!
and DO report back on what you got at Maison Kayser as I am living vicariously through you ๐
and I am hoping mals will chime in cause I know she likes this one but the Narcissus is a knock out ๐ I wore it to work once and everyone was commenting and asking “what’s that smell?” on of the gardeners in the bunch said “it smells like jonquils”….
Yep, the Narcissus is lovely!
I really like the gardenia one and plan to buy it. Can’t remember if I’ve tried any of the others yet; I tend to get distracted in mid sample set.
Great! Thanks for you input. I head the Gardenia is like a true Gardenia
*Heard
It’s very powerful and long lasting
Lovely day planned! Right up my alley ๐
I’ve tried several and they all seemed very true-to-the-flower. I did detect the “blue cheese” note in the Gardenia that rather put me off it, but I’m not a huge gardenia fan to begin with. And the Mimosa has, for me, a very jarring opening, but then settles into loveliness after a few minutes.
Agreed, I thought the Gardenia was bleu-cheesy.
I’ve also sampled the first batch of Dame soliflores. They are all very nice and are surprisingly realistic. My favorite is the gardenia, which is the most true gardenia scent I’ve encountered, but the mimosa, narcissus, and osmanthus are really nice too.
Ooh let us know what u think of the Chanel crayons, they look gorgeous, I love the look of the rose one, however they are a pretty small amount compared to other Chanel lip products, tempting tho!
I bought the Rouge Allure gloss in super nude, a couple of weeks ago, it’s a lovely formula.
Ditto…please let us know how the crayons are…
I am eyeing Rouge Corail which I have absolutely no business pondering buying much less actually buying right now. Still, a girl dreams…
I tried the rose once and wasn’t impressed, but I want to try the rest! Please report!

this covers them all…and I did also layer them with the musk which I liked too.
Oh and I forgot! when I first got them I layered them with each other too!!!
ah! Great..I will read this!
SOTD is Robert Piguet Fracas. It is not a typical winter fragrance, but I think it is an excellent cold weather scent. No sun appeared today (the weather is a bit depressing), and after all that leather, tobacco and resins I wore on three previous days I want flowers. Fracas is a real tuberose bomb, a loud and sunny scent.
Perfect, and agree it is a great winter fragrance.
Rainuary has been getting me down, too, Glannys!
It’s mostly snow-and-iceanuary here. Not enough sun and too many cold winds for my taste. And the nights are so long!
I always seem to want white flowers in January. BIG white flowers.
You smell great. Winter is the perfect time for Fracas, IMO.
Day off so trying to work through some samples but time to scrub off Rainmaker and Voyance. Can’t win them all.
Actual SOTD is Golden Acacia which is strictly a day off scent since it’s so big and kind of dirty but still fabulous
Haven’t tried that one, but by the name and you’re description it sounds gorgeous, is it anything like Journey woman, or am I way off the mark?
Way off– Journey Woman is a smooth osmanthus leather on me while Golden Acacia is rougher and comes across as a pollen hazed honey with sunshine and dirtiness and maybe some outdoor sex thrown in
Well, that description just landed Golden Acacia on my “must try” list.
Fumรฉrie Turque. Back to work in big style!
Yes you are!
Original Fendi today, from a partial bottle I found. Lovely in a raspy way. I found the bottle for a good price in an antique store but I’m not sure I’d pay the eBay price for a bottle.
I’m joining you in Fendi and indulging in shameless 80s nostalgia. Also revisiting this delightful review by Angela:
https://nstperfume.com/2014/07/15/fendi-by-fendi-for-women-fragrance-review/
I never find any perfume, ever in the antique/thrift stores around here. This city must be filled with perfume hoarders. And you smell great!
SOTD Histoires de Parfum 1899 (Ernest Hemingway).
I almost gave away this sample but tried it again a couple of weeks ago and completely changed my mind about it. It’s one of those whose deliciousness hit me a little later on. Warm, creamy, spice. Mmmm
Sounds like a slow love affair
Well, I only tried it quickly once before so it was more a sudden shift, but I’m glad I didn’t get rid of it so quickly!
Really need to try this line. Sephora sells sample sets. Maybe one of these days.
I really like a number of them and the bonus is the 15ml bottles they make for their standard lineup.
That was my favorite from the HdP discovery set.
Goutal Sables, wonderful and very good on a cold day.
I have a sample of this on the way — can’t wait to try it!
J. Crew no.31 for me today. This incessant rain makes its boozy sweetness perfect.
So sad they have not done more in that series!
If I had known it was popcorn day, I’d have worn Fin du Monde!
Instead, I put on AG Vanille Exquise, but it turned out not to be what I was in the mood for. Layered on some Vanilla Flash over it, and it’s perfect
I love AG Vanille Exquise. Its a good layering perfume and I find it very cozy
SOTD: Concentrรฉ d’Orange Verte (Hermรจs). You smell good Robin!
And hey, so do you!
In the magnificent Ambre Narguilรฉ, which has evolved from headache-inducing last winter to an incontournable this winter.
Thanks to everyone for your kind wishes on my first public practice defense! It went pretty well, actually! I didn’t mess up and was able to clearly convey my ideas. I’ve got a LOT of work to do in refining my story before my real defense, but at least I didn’t embarrass myself! Your support yesterday was great, and sorely needed ๐
Great news!!
You smell great too.
Hooray! Great to hear!
So glad to hear it went well!
excellent ๐
Yay????
Yay you!
Hooray!, well done!
Congrats! You are almost there. Keep up the awesome work.
Good for you!
Parfum du jour: Escada Magnetism. I’m sugary, fruity, with a bit of green sprinkled in, but it totally works since I only sprayed ONE spray! ๐ This is my newest Scentbird pick, and I quite like it!
I used to wear this when it first came out. Glad to know it still smells good.
I’m wearing Mohur extrait, something I’ve used a lot this winter. I wasn’t able to check in yesterday, but wore Iris Nazarena – love it all year round, but it’s a great winter iris.
You smell lovely. Moving my decant to the front of the collection…
Thank you! I’m not a rose person really, but this is just so easy to wear while being totally non-basic.
I’m really enjoying the pastels in that first India Mahdavi room on your blog today. I didn’t recognize her name, but when I followed the link to her site, I realized that I’d gone there a couple of months ago when I was intrigued by one of her lamps.
Me too, fantastic mix of colours and textures! She seems like such an interesting woman, too.
Such a good time of year to enjoy Mohur. Smelling divine!
It works most of the time for me, even in moderate heat, but yes, now is good ๐
Gorgeous
Thank you! And yes, it is.
Mandragore is one of two Goutals I’m able to wear – you smell wonderful, Robin. SOTD for me is the powdery goodness of vintage Vol de Nuit EDT, a new-for-me winter favorite.
Ok, now I must know what the other is!
The other is Eau d’Hadrian. ๐ I don’t know whether it’s the base they use or something else, but the others I’ve sampled from the Goutal line make me feel vaguely nauseous.
Interesting, thanks!
Janis Joplin – timeless.
Out for coffee after an appointment- Rwanda Kivu Lake pour over. The dark roast with a hint of chocolate is a good accompaniment to POAL body butter, which I find very safe to wear out of the house.
There were compliments and even mini reviews from people about the subtle but intriguing scent.
I listened to Little Girl Blue in her honor this morning. Such a great song.
SOTD = Chergui
5 healthy sprays. Need I say more?
Wow! 5 is a big number for that one.
Absolutely no need to say more, however.
Go big or go home ๐
yum ๐
and for the record I did respond back to your question twice but both times it was the day after in the wee hours of the morning ๐
and congrats on your new “free” full bottle of the Guerlain ๐
Color me surprised when I got the email from Victoria!
Thank you sweets!
I’ve never smelled Chergui, but I’m always in favor of 5 sprays.
We have to remedy this!
Perfect, the more the merrier I say, and this is the perfect time of year for Chergui!
It’s definitely a winter favorite!
Twins! Although you’re bolder than me – I only did 3. Gotta say, we smell pretty great ๐
Yay! Way back when I first tried Chergui (barely 2 sprays from a sample aromizer), I did not like it – it smelled like bug spray! I don’t even recall how I ended up spraying more and it was as if the clouds parted and the angels sang hallelujah!
Oooof, fat fingers but an “aromizer” sounds like it could be a thing! Again I say where was the spellchecker when I made the boo boo?
Such a great scent. You smelled wonderful today!
Thank you, Petunia!
I keep planning to wear it but somehow forget. I should consider it for tomorrow but I need to go through the list and see if it makes it to my top 10.
You smell great!
I’m meeting some folks for a field visit today, so I went with a discreet spritz of Pomelo Paradis so as to not clash with the whole being-outdoors thing.
I like that one, as I do with most of the Atelier’s- pretty and easy to wear. Love that they come as little travel sprays too.
You smell nice!
A couple of dabs of Cuir de Lancome for me today. I’m still having a hard time spraying scents these days. My nose for some unknown reason is extra sensitive.
Lovely blue sky, sunny day today!
Oh please send some sun my way! #jealous
So nice out today! I wore that the other night. It’s really such a nice one. I go through periods of unexplained sensitivity which I now blame on hormones.
Hormones might be the reason! Wow, glad you said that. Definitely changes going on…
Excited for my lunch time walk today!
My sensitivity is more related to sweet vs non sweet. There are days when I’m suddenly repulsed/nauseated by sweet scents and then days I crave them…
Enjoy your walk! I’m on the UES so might take a short hike to the park, myself.
Nodding in agreement. ????
Scent twin! You smell wonderful!
You too! ๐
SOTD is likely to be Tonka Imperiale from a decant or Cuir Beluga. It isn’t too cold today, but gray and a little misty. Good weather for a hot drink and a book, but I am stuck working on charts. Will have to participate late in the day tomorrow since work is a scent-free zone.
Love Janis Joplin. Going into work a little later than I normally do, so I can enjoy Theorema a little longer before my shower. So I think that Frapin 1270 would be a great choice after my shower.
Yay, Theorema.
Dzing! for me today. Maybe appropriate for Popcorn Day – caramelly circus popcorn. And BTW, I love popcorn, usually not sweet, however. Taking a weekend trip to Seattle.
We have a popcorn machine in our kitchen at work and it’s used at least 3 times a week. If they pop some today I think I’ll have to have 2 bags to celebrate!
Definitely. Already planning to get some when I get to the airport for my trip!
You smell great. I’m with you on the popcorn: I love it and usually eat some sort of non-sweet variety. (Although I do crave a good helping of caramel corn now and then!)
Enjoy your time in the city! It’s been rainy all week, pack your rain jacket…
You smell amazing. Have a great trip!
Continuing with my winter favorites in SL Fille de Berlin today. I love the way it lingers in scarves and sweaters.
Mmm fille de Berlin, one of my 3 favourite roses, u smell wonderful, yes it really lingers beautifully.
You smell fantastic!
No. 5 L’eau today. The more I wear this, the more and more I enjoy the lovely drydown. It does wear close to the skin though.
I like L’Eau in crisp weather. I make sure to get a portion of my sprays on my clothes, where it seems to project a little better.
you smell lovely!
Happy Thursday Everyone! Its a dreary, rainy day here today. More rain is expected today. ๐
SOTD is Pomegranate Noir.
OOO! sort of scent twins as I am currently using the bath soap every morning !
I’m wearing the incense scent that starts with J – can never remember how to spell it- but it’s one of the Comme des Garcons Series 3. Our whole school went to Mass this morning, so I smelled very “holy”.
Jaisalmer?
That’s the one. I always get too many vowels or not enough.
I know I’m in the minority, but I like it better than Avignon and Kyoto.
Jaisalmer is my favorite of that series! You smell great. One day, I might actually buy it.
I have been buying decants, but my FB arrived yesterday. Have you tried Ouarzazate? I ordered a sample from LuckyScent but they sent the wrong one.
I’ve tried all of them and I pretty much like them all! But if I were to pick one, it would be Jailsamer since it’s the warmest to me.
I really like it too and I also like Palisander which doesn’t get mentioned much.
I’m in Tihota today for a day of errands and grocery shopping. Being confined to the house for a week means I’ll probably be out nearly all day.
In Guerlain Terracotta. Very busy and desperately in need of something summery and bright. Terracotta is doing its work!
Happy Birthday Janis! A lady from work gave me a scented nail polish. It smells very sweet, so I’m wearing Bon Bon, so I match pretty well.
Scented nail polish? What a cute idea! I’ve never heard of anything like that, but I’m intrigued!
It’s made by Revlon. I’ve only ever tried this one. It smells pretty bad while applying, but once it is dry it smells nice. The one I have smells very candy-like. Although, smelling fingers looks way worse than smelling wrists.lol
Ha! That does look kind of weird.
This is where scented nail polish gets extremely weird – fried chicken, anyone?
https://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/06/world/asia/kfc-chicken-nail-polish.html?_r=0
I’m convinced that the purple one (can’t remember the name, but I have a bottle at home) smells just like Angel.
SOTD was the last drops from my tiny bottle of Celebrity Garden Party.Bright-green freshness, can a perfume smell like crunching fresh lettuce?Yes it can!Continuing my health-and-fitness program,I had an awesome walk through town earlier.Glad to see so many other people along the streets, also running/walking with a purpose.2017 Resolutions are still going strong.Happy Popcorn Day!Lol!x
Congrats on surviving boot camp ๐
Thanks!????
Morning, good morning. I slept very late this morning (excellent!) and when I staggered out at six to make tea, both cats were sitting by the food bowls, glaring and saying, “Empty! And what time do you call this, missy?” Isabella was about to phone the Feline Union to demand collective action, and Jack was organising his knitted mice into a full on frontal attack. And.–this is the worst bit– we have NO Temptations in the house. Oh dear. Somehow we can’t manage cat contentment without six Temptations each as a little post-prandial treat. I hope this domestic crisis isn’t an omen for the day! Anyhow, I have sweetened the moment and strengthened my backbone with a generous application of 31 Rue Cambon. Some days, you just have to go for the biggest guns there are, and 31 RC is my ultimate weapon and defence. BTW, Isabella has gone off in an elegant harruffle, but Dakkie’ has now come by and given me a surreptitious smooch. Phew!
Oh, and forgot to say –31 RC is in my top ten EVERYTHING, summer, winter and all season in between; jeans and hoodie or midnight blue sequins; serious date with the dear one or scooting put for a grumpy solitary walk by the sea.
This is an absolutely correct statement.
Yes!!
Oh dear, no Temptations. You’ll be lucky if they don’t express their discontent in any sort of possession-destroying way…
I miss having a cat. Silvia the Pink-Nosed Underfoot lived for 20 years with us, but since my youngest is mildly allergic (the cat predated the kid), we decided that when she passed on we would not get another cat until Taz had moved out of the house.
Silvia the Pink-nosed Underfoot? That says EVERYTHING! I can picture her person and her personality from that name! I do hope you get another purr some day, ‘cos even on a day when Temptations are missing and they get in a snit, cats are life-enhancing.
Well, we do have a dog. (Or he has us.) He has flooped himself right over onto my foot right now.
But I do miss kitties.
Good luck with the cranky felines. I can’t imagine many things more daunting than a grumpy Siamese cat.
Busy day in the office. Spent the morning running errands and now sitting down to get an early start of reports. How is it seriously this late in the month already? I feel like January just started.
I’m in Lyric Woman today, which is a winter staple.
You smell gorgeous. I’ll probably wear Lyric tomorrow…
I’ve been in a scent rut lately, so I came here to get some inspiration an remind me what else is out there. Even though I have been wearing a lot of sandalwood lately I at least mixed it up with SL Santal Majascule, dabbed from a sample vial.
I have been testing SM lately. Although it is beautiful, I’m looking for a more feminine sandalwood.
I had such a happy evening watching a documentary about the architect John Lautner ( I could live in all of his houses ) and reading Alan Cumming’s You Gotta Get Bigger Dreams…just me on the couch with the dogs, a plate of (terrible NZ ) cheese and crackers and a couple of glasses of wine. Has anyone ever tried the Cumming scents? They sound good – peaty, boozy and sweaty? There is a great chapter in the book about Gore Vidal and the absence of joy . The tone is much chattier than his previous memoir ( about his violent father ) but it isn’t gossipy. Anyway, think I will wear an amber scent today as it is cold ….Ambre des Merveilles? Washing sheets and towels and back to work. Hurray!
I think the cheese really can’t be that good, can it? ๐
Non-Austrian cheese is going to make me giggle from now on.
Any non-Austrian dairy product.
Don’t forget the yoghurt. And, also Austrian lamb because NZ lamb is far too strong…and then there’s the fish, also better in Austria …. this pretty much sums up the opening response to every meal we placed in front of them. I became completely mesmerised by their comments, anticipating what would come next. At one point I had to fill the car up with petrol and the guy jumped out of the front as I screwed back the cap. I thought, that’s nice, he’s going to offer to contribute (I used about $60 driving them places) but no, it was simply to check the price of petrol in NZ to see if it was more expensive than Austria. It was bizarrely entertaining
But they’ve gone…gone…why did they come at all, I wonder? My wish for you is that they NEVER return. And (though I grieve for Gaynor’s lack of summer) the gales and horizontal rain in Wellington sounds like a very good place for them right now.
Hear hear. They sound like the worst sort of houseguests that I would never allow to darken my doorstep again.
Gone! Gone! Gone!
I assume they meant saltwater fish?
saltwater, freshwater, gold, chocolate and cheese flavoured
Bruno Fazzolari Au Dela, which I bought blind because I’m not smart and there was a deal at Twisted Lily where you got a discovery set along with a full bottle. If I’d gotten the set first, I probably would have chosen Jimmy (which is now discontinued for some reason) or Montserrat, but Au Dela has really grown on me. It’s a little old-fashioned but salty and warm.
I’m enjoying a sample of Au Dela. I love the jasmine and narcissus combination. I’m not yet sold on that dry down though.
Au Dela is a wonderful scent.
Today I am in Reve en Cuir. Elegant cardamom and leather. Now that I have this I don’t think I need a FB of DK Cashmere, which was on my wish list. They are not alike, but ReC satisfies my craving for cardamom.
Black Cashmere
Wearing Bois des Isles edt, a favorite winter perfume. There are days where nothing smells more perfect.
Lurve!
Ditto!
Popcorn Day is going to test me, I fear. I normally eat a lot of popcorn but have recently been abstaining out of solidarity with a family member sporting a temporary crown. I must resist…
SOTD is Cuir de Lancรดme, a definite winter top-ten scent.
But popcorn is healthy in large quantities, isn’t it? I mean, it’s not even food…just a way of connecting people via a cardboard bucket.
Exactly. ????
Wearing Musc Ravageur today. It’s yummy, and I can’t believe I’d gone all winter so far without wearing it.
I’m thinking I need to wear that tomorrow!
I’m going through my Zoologist samples and wearing Civet today. I love it! oooh! I thought it would be much weirder than it is. I also really like Bat but it just doesn’t seem to last on me for some reason, which is disappointing. But the Civet lasts and seems very sort of warm and golden.
Yet another gray morning had me reach for L’Heure Bleue. No complaints. Bu now, lo and behold… what is that? The sun? In January? In Cleveland?? Takes something away from LHB’s moodiness, but I’m enjoying nonetheless.
You smell lovely!
Diptyque Volutes EdT, which my husband got me* for Christmas. He’s a sweetie ๐
*Meaning that post-xmas he said “sure, you should get it, it can be your Christmas present” and i commenced with the ordering
Hahaha. That’s just great. He has good taste!
I got a few of those “presents” as well ๐
That’s just being a smart shopper. Mine usually says something like, “buy what you want, but if it’s expensive it’s a gift from me.”
Ha! He’s got class ๐
Bond No 9 Chinatown
Pretty! I have a small decant of Chinatown. I should pull it out soon.
SL’s Gris Clair today. I needed something extremely grounding, and went for my fail-safe. It never lets me down, and always makes me feel comforted.
SOTD = La Myrrhe! Lovely stuff, unfortunately. Now I need a bell jar….
That’s a pretty one and I think one of the few Serges without cumin! ????
It’s night here. In the day I wore CdG Avignon, which I purchased yesterday. I love it, but I wish it had better projection.
Have any of you have hit a perfume plateau- where you couldn’t find anything new you could successfully wear?
I’m feeling cranky. Maybe it’s the grey weather, and the fact that I’m trying to lose 10 lbs is not helping! ๐
I had such high hopes for my new batch of samples.
I tested some SSS and DSH, some Atilier, and a bunch of Amber samples rec. from STC.
DSH American rose is pretty- but not wow on me.
Vanille EDPis ok.- kind of perfumey too.
Piment du Chocolate was WAY too baroque on me- I struggled to not wash it off after just 10 minutes. I stuck it out- pretty but too much money for ok. It was like a PDN scent- beautiful and really big.
I expected to looooove Souviner de Maimaison after Jessica’s review here. I like the spicy note in L’air du Temps so I thought it was a sure thing.
It was pretty near the end but way too perfumery near the front -and only ok at the end., after waiting out all the rest…To paraphrase someone ‘ that’s no way to wear and enjoy perfume.’ ๐
I’m beginning to worry I’m not going to find anything else I can wear.
I guess I like the ‘idea’ of cedar, incense and Amber -but not most fragrances including them. I couldn’t wear any of the SSS frag ( with the exception of the rose – it was ok).
All of the Altilier’s I tried were awful on my skin or disappeared.
I haven’t been able to wear anything past three tries lately!
I can wear Hermes Le Ambre Des Merivilles ( in the cold), Guerlain Terracotta, Estee Tuberose Gardenia, Stella and SL Santal Majuscule.
I should just enjoy the ones I have and stop trying to find another for a time?
๐ thanks for letting me vent!
I have been having a similarly low batting average with samples, which is why I’ve decided to stop buying them and just wear my loved full bottles.
@cazaubon, I’m thinking you’re right. I probably need to take a break from testing and enjoy what I have.
I sympathize and have had similar experiences lately. For me, I think I’ve realized that I have more than I need already and a new scent would really have to wow me before I’d buy. Let’s face it, I probably already own something sort of similar. Also, we’re probably also learning what we really like from past mistakes and becoming more discerning.
You’re probably right. Here’s to learning and becoming more discerning Petunia!
There are times when i smell a perfume, and it’s instant love. Other times I can smell the exact perfume, and think, what was I thinking? For me, perfume can be very emotional and mood driven. I know the frustration of craving a new scent, and not finding one that fits. I think that’s the time to step back and get reacquainted with what you already love. The new ones will come when it’s their turn.
I just had to come back to say, that was a little deep for the grown woman that wore Bon Bon today. Lol. Sometimes it’s just comes down to what you’re in the mood for.
Hahaha! I love it Lilyjo. That’s the truth! ????
Lillyjo- I came back because I kept thinking about how gracious you were. Thank you!
When I open my sample box and the wafting odors rush up to my nose, I think hope and despair. But mostly despair!
Sorry to hear there’s dispair right now. Hope we all find some joy fragrances soon stinker_kit. ???? It’s always bound to get better.
Late to post, but I waited to try on today’s kerosene tin experiment until post-gym etc.
Yesterday’s Blackmail again had great lasting power, and not too much “oud-y” synthetics popping up.
Today’s Broken Theories is a nice smoky tobacco, smooth and comforting, and would get along with any fan of Chergui/tabac aurea. Doesn’t smell just like them, mind you, but similarly agreeable.
(I don’t think I can wear Tabac Aurea, but I have smelled it and its friends)
I’m getting over a sinus infection and can’t smell much. I still wore a spray of Tauer’s Amber Flush oil. That name is really unfortunate. ๐
Thanks Elisa!
???? Laughing here Petunia-That is an unfortunate name!
Cuir Ottoman for me today, a perennial winter favourite.
I want this. It sounds so good.
Late to the party! Pacifica Island Vanilla and Bvlgari Black. Very nice together and perfect for cool weather.
