Amouage Bracken Woman ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 29 November 2016 4 Comments

Amouage Bracken Woman

Amouage will launch Bracken Woman, a new fragrance, in January. Bracken Woman is part of the Midnight Flower collection, and is the feminine counterpart to 2016's Bracken Man.

One of the most intriguing scents conjured from Omani luxury perfume house Amouage, Bracken Woman launches globally to ignite the luxury fragrance market. If the masculine equivalent is anything to go by, expect a vibrant mix of earthy wood tones with fresh fruits and undertones of patchouli and musk – a perennial brand favourite. Housed within the characteristic cubed bottle crafted from frosted glass, it’s an enigma waiting to be solved.*

Amouage Bracken Woman will be available at Selfridges in the UK, in 100 ml Eau de Parfum, £330.

(via selfridges)

*Note that the Selfridges description implies they don't actually have any idea what it smells like and they're guessing based on what they know about the men's? If it helps, Christopher Chong of Amouage described Bracken Woman as "fresh green and luscious" on Instagram.

Update: Bracken Woman is now in stock at Selfridges. Here is the description from the Amouage page at Facebook...

BRACKEN WOMAN (The Midnight Flower Collection). Recreating the symbols of peace and freedom with luminous ferns and flowers of the woodland Bracken Woman is inspired by the Flower Power of the 1960s.

Notes for the green floral include bracken accord, wild berries, lily, narcissus, camomile, smoky leather, patchouli, vetiver and birch.

I love their packaging too! Thankfully for my wallet, the actual juice rarely captures me. Althoug,h I do love and own a FB of Fate Woman…

Same here — feel lucky that most of them don’t work for me. Wish I’d bought a bottle of Jubilation XXV when the small sizes were still available, but most of the rest of it I can live without.
