Salome winning Best Women’s Perfume gives me hope that finally, the winners are not dictated by the size of the advertising budget but rather the merits of the perfume itself. I still won’t wear Salome and would prefer not to smell it either from the bottle or on someone because it is too cuminy / skanky to my nose but apparently, it is very appealing to a lot of basenotes readers!
