Posted by Robin on 22 June 2016 6 Comments

Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming

Christian Dior will launch Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming, a new flanker to 2005 / 2011's Miss Dior. Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming will be fronted by Natalie Portman.

The notes include red fruits (raspberry, pomegranate and black currant), pink pepper, peony, rose and white musk.

Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming will debut in September, and will be available in Eau de Parfum.

Absolutely Blooming… Sounds a little too cutesy. Absolute Bloom perhaps?

It does, but the bottle is pretty cutesy. Plus they already did Blooming Bouquet so maybe they wanted to keep the Blooming?

Ah that makes sense. I’d forgotten about Blooming Bouquet. Flankers!

In UK English blooming (pr. blummin’) is an old mild euphemism for ‘bloody’. As in ‘it’s (absolutely) blooming disgraceful’ . So a comical name for a perfume. It sounds ghastly pink/sweet otherwise.

Well, that’s a predictable note list. Generic pink.
