Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles (& some other stuff) 2016, part 6

Posted by Robin on 13 May 2016 16 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US. Today's post includes collector bottles from Guerlain and Victoria's Secret; new travel sizes from Neela Vermeire; plus new concentrations of Givenchy Live Irrésistible and Trussardi Donna.

Guerlain Shalimar Souffle de Parfum collector

From Guerlain, Shalimar Souffle de Parfum in a limited edition bottle inspired by the Holi festival. In 50 ml Eau de Parfum, €102 at Guerlain in France.

Victoria's Secret Bombshell limited editions

From Victoria's Secret, two collectable versions of Bombshell ("Sexy today, sexy tomorrow, sexy forever"). At left, with "a luxe black bow", $68 for 100 ml; at right, with pink Swarovski crystals, $250 for 50 ml. At Victoria's Secret.

Neela Vermeire Créations Take Two sets

From Neela Vermeire Créations, the Pichola, Ashoka or Bombay Bling fragrances in a "Take Two" travel set with two 15 ml bottles. €112 per set at Neela Vermeire.

Givenchy Live Irrésistible EdT

From Givenchy, Live Irrésistible in a new Eau de Toilette concentration: "A floral and fruity cocktail, sparkling and juicy Seize the moment, share your happiness and rewrite all the rules, leaving just one: Live Irresistible." With pear granita, green apple, raspberry, rose, pimento berry, powdery musks and light woods. Available in 40 and 75 ml. (via givenchybeauty)

Trussardi Donna EdT

From Trussardi, Trussardi Donna in a new Eau de Toilette concentration: "Described as fresh, exciting and sophisticated, the new Trussardi Donna Eau de Toilette scent was developed by perfumer Nathalie Lorson who also created the original scent." Notes include yuzu, cedrat, watery fruit, jasmine tea, orange blossom, lotus, sandalwood, white patchouli, cedar and vanilla. Available in 100 ml. (via dutyfreehunter)

That is a pretty Guerlain bottle, and much cheaper than the hand-painted ones.

It’s gorgeous! If I was only in it for the bottle, that would be a must buy.

Same here. Shalimar is a bit “thick” for me.

Those Neela Vermeire sets are going to be a great hit for splits, swaps, and gifts.

Yes! I’m trying to figure out if they’re spray or not — if they are, I am seriously considering the Pichola.

The Perfume Magpie might know. She was at Esxence and visited Neela Vermeire. Neela’s site doesn’t specify.

I love the Shalimar Souffle bottle. I think I am the rare person here, that likes the scent too.

Ah, then really you should have one! But don’t know how widely it will be distributed, and suspect not very widely.

I am still waiting for the porcelaine Mitsuoko bottle. That said, the Shalimar bottle is really attractive!

Why only those three NV scents, I wonder? I would love Trayee. (Pichola is certainly tempting me, though, as well.)

My wild guess is that she did the 3 best sellers, to see how they would do in smaller sizes? But of course I have no idea.

I am loving the Trussardi bottle.

The original Trussardi duo Donna e Uomo were on my buy-list in the 90s when they originally came out.. Of course.. I never got to buy them LOL! But I am sure you can relate… so many perfumes!

This duo had a very “soap clean” base, but not in a white musk kind of way, but in a very elegant european fine soap way.

Very classy! looking forward to trying them!
