Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely Sheer ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 31 March 2016 13 Comments

Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely Sheer

Sarah Jessica Parker will launch Lovely Sheer, a new flanker to her debut fragrance, 2005's Lovely. Ms. Parker says the lighter, fresher fragrance is Lovely's baby sister.

The notes feature bergamot, mandarin, orange blossom, fresh gardenia water, pink pepper, blonde woods, musk, vetiver and amber.

Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely Sheer will debut in April, in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Who knew Lovely was still selling? I liked it well enough though the best part of Lovely is Coty let her release Covet.

Not I, and would be surprised if it was selling much.

    Really?
I was at TJMaxx last week and there were a gazillion 100ml bottles and gift sets of Lovely.
Seems a bad business model to launch a flanker when the original heavily discounted, but now that I’m typing this, I suppose it happens all the time.

Fragrances don’t always (or even usually) get discounted because the brand has asked it to be discounted, so would not say that’s Coty’s business model, more just a fact of life :-)

I’m saying that even though this was manufactured months ago, launching it seems doomed to full price failure.
I know there is a long lead time, but even the Mother’s Day crowds won’t be fooled again. LOL
And what happened to her “Unisex” launch? I suppose Coty nixed that idea. ;)

I assume Coty nixed that idea too…or we’re just having a REALLY long wait.

I’m looking forward to this one as well. I really like her fragrance Twilight too – for Fall and Winter.

I got my bottle and really enjoy it. It will be great for summer.

I’ll give it a go if I find it in Macy’s or Perfumania store or something.
Also is the Lovely Anniversary edition more-or-less intense than the original? Thx!

So far as I know the Anniversary edition is just a collector bottle, same juice.
