Prada Candy Kiss ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 12 February 2016 12 Comments

Prada Candy Kiss

Prada will launch Candy Kiss, a new fragrance for women, next month. Candy Kiss is a flanker to 2011's Prada Candy, and follows 2013's Candy L'Eau and 2014's Prada Candy Florale, as well as the Candy Kiss travel trio.

Candy Kiss was developed by perfumer Daniela Andrier, and is described as a 'sensual veil' of musk evoking white cotton. Additional notes include vanilla and orange blossom.

Prada Candy Kiss will be available in 30, 50 and 80 ml Eau de Parfum. It will be fronted by model Lexi Boling.

For some strange reason, I look forward to this :)

But I doubt it will be worth buying :)

I did look forward to it until white cotton. Now I will apply carefully to a blotter instead of skin in case it’s a white musk bomb ;-)

Damn…didn’t see the white cotton note :( Rarely I like that..

Let’s hope orange blossom and vanilla is the dominant notes :)

I don’t know if it’s a note or just what the fragrance is meant to evoke. But I’m suspicious.

Uh-oh. This doesn’t look promising. I loathed the other two flankers for Candy, and this sounds like it will be Candy collides with TBS White Musk and feminine hygiene products. *shudders*

Where’s Candy Noir or Candy Intense when you need them?

Exactly! Candy really could have so many fantastic flankers.

I’m always excited for a Candy flanker but I haven’t actually liked any of them yet. I’ll definitely try this, but I’m way more interested in trying one of your suggested flankers.

I think the original Prada Candy would be fabulous with a drop of patchouli.

I keep waiting for Prada to release Candy Man. For some reason, when I smell Candy (original) I always think about what they could do if they tweaked or enhanced it just slightly. Maybe it would just go straight to A*Men territory?

As long as they didn’t mess up the formula too much. I wonder if a future topic could be men’s flankers that disappoint compared to the original “female” scent. My #1 pick: Bottega Veneta. The original women’s scent was so great, borderline masculine. Then they made the official masculine so sharp and harsh! :(

Great idea for a Friday poll, thanks!
