Happy Global Forgiveness Day! What fragrance are you wearing?
I'm wearing Jean Paul Gaultier Ma Dame.
Reminder: this Friday, 7/10, is 3 star fragrance Friday: wear a fragrance you would "objectively" only give 3 (or fewer!) out of 5 stars, but that you love and wear frequently.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2015, where I'll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.
Note: top image is from the Jean Paul Gaultier Tribute to Frida Kahlo collection, 1998.
Lys Soleia today to brighten up a cloudy day. For me just a tiny spray is enough otherwise it may induce a headache. In small amounts it is beautiful!
I should try it that way, a tiny dab.
I have 75 mls… enough for say 7 life times 😀
Today I am wearing a decant of Yves Saint Laurent Nu.
Why did they discontinue this beauty? Ugh!
They did bring it back, although who knows how long it will be around. And do not know how it compares to the original.
http://www.yslbeautyus.com/nu/538YSL.html?dwvar_538YSL_size=2.7%20oz.%20%2F%2080%20mL
I love Nu, and only know it in the current version (beige bottle).
I’m wearing Eau Turquoise. It’s interesting — somehow I get an iris effect from it, but mostly as a kind of “aftersmell” (equivalent to aftertaste or afterimage)
Which one do you prefer Turquoise or Exotique?
Hermes Rose Ikebana – something nice and light because it’s so humid I can barely breathe.
This is on my to try list.. how do you find the rhubarb in it?
I’m having some trouble picking out the rhubarb from the grapefruit, which is more dominant on my skin.
Thanks, Elizabeth! That at least does not promote buying blind – a travel set is on my mind and in the Rose I was particularly looking for rhubarb… Others I wanted to include are Iris U, Osmanthe Y and the forth I am not sure yet. I have Vetiver T, Santal M, Vanille G and Osmanthe (which is almost empty).
Probably I will just test them when next time anywhere near enough a H store.
I started the day off in TDC Osmanthus, which I’d been wanting to try forever. I love osmanthus and Jean-Claude Ellena, so I figured it was a no brainer. Turned out to be thin, flat, and vaguely reminiscent of Febreze. Had to scrub it off. I guess it’s for the best; one less thing for me to covet. Now I’m in Terracotta, which is creamy, dreamy beachy heaven!
Likewise love JCE and osmanthus, and I do not love the TDC version either. Not a scrubber on me, exactly, just don’t care about it either way.
I’m with you: blech. Did not like. Thin and shrill and soapy.
Glad to know I don’t have to covet TDC Osmanthus on top of Osmanthus Yunnan!
No, definitely not! OY is amazing! This, not so much.
Let me be the lone dissenter: I adore TDC’s Osmanthus. I’ve never tried Osmanthe Yunnan, but I have tried Osmanthus Interdite and the OJ Osmanthus. The TDC is my favourite by far, very original and distinctive. And very true to the smell of real Osmanthus, at least the tea versions that I’m familiar with.
Totally with you on this: love TDC Osmanthus, don’t care for the others, least of all Osmanthe Yunnan.
I’ve doused myself in Cristalle EDT in preparation for a very long day, and plan to re-douse this afternoon to carry me through the evening. If nothing else, I’ll smell wonderful throughout!
Twins here, and I already redoused as it is end of the afternoon here!
Hi twin – you smell great! 🙂
I almost wore this today. Will probably wear it tomorrow. I haven’t worn it in a while. You smell incredible!
Nothing seemed to work today – it’s cool and rainy and not at all like our usual July. It’s too cold for the usual summer fare but too muggy for my crisp fall favorites. SOTD is Byredo Gypsy Water.
Ah, I want to try that sometime – I like the name….
Have you tried it in the “hair perfume” version? I have been quite curious about this and wonder what others thought about it. Is it a waste of money or worth the buck? Or, should I just continue spraying a bit of my perfume on my hair brush? LOL!
I have not tried that but want to see if it is different somehow!
Sonoma Scent Studios Rose Musc..another one that smells pretty great to me but is just meh to adorable hubby. This is my current quest…to find a rose fragrance that makes him go “Hubba hubba!” LOL!
If this wears thin, I will refresh with my decant of Une Fille de Berlin – I forgot I had put my decant of this in my purse, or I would have worn it first this morning.
Have you tried a spicy rose? The adorable hubby in my household is a sucker for spice. His favorite rose is TDC Rose Kashan, but he also likes Atelier Rose Anonyme.
Rose Anonyme is great, and JHAG Vengeance Extreme is very similar, also good.
I don’t think my husband has ever commented positively on a rose fragrance. Too bad since it’s my favorite note!
Which rose fragrances have you tried? A nice, spicy, sensual rose is Evening Rose by Aerin Lauder. (I call it the “grown up” rose fragrance) I also like Red Roses too by Jo Malone. Its like an assortment of different red roses. FABULOUS!
I also forgot to mention “Lady Vengeance” by Juliette Has A Gun. This is an amazing rose for a lot of people that don’t really like rose – scented fragrances.
If it has musk in it, he might not be able to smell the entire composition, which it’s just “meh”. I’m anosmic to musk and in the past I’ve sprayed various samples and had my husband say “that’s way too musky for work!” Thank goodness he’s there to warn me!
I love Rose Musc! If you do something very “hot” for him while you are wearing YOUR fav rose fragrance, invariably he will think it is hubba-hubba!!!
Lol! Creating positive scent memory 😉
The Rose de Petra I wore today did not get a grimace from my husband which in my mind means he adores it. But maybe because it’s more of a rose blend rather than a soliflor. He also didn’t hate Lyric.
I had a sample of MFK A La Rose that was a really juicy, full bodied rose, very pretty. My husband likes that one! Or go the other way and try Le Labo Rose 31, which her refers to as “dirty rose” because it has a smutty cumin thing to it! I also liked Giorgio Aramani
Prive Rose d’Arabie Intense enough to put it on the “get sample” list!
I am wearing Cartier Declaration d’un Soir which is a perfectly nice (3 stars) office friendly scent.
Raining for the third day. The humidity is getting quite intense.
SOTD: Journey Woman. Happiness, come to me!
Cool and rainy here. Wearing Jimmy Choo Exotic.
I’m in 24 Faubourg, which I think is the perfect office scent. I tried ScentBird the other month so I’m working my way through a nice sized decant.
A great office scent, especially good in fall/spring, I think.
Oh, just this morning I was trying to decide if I could wear my sample to the office (it’s a small spray with not much left so I didn’t want to waste any to find out.) Now I know! Will try tomorrow 🙂
Regina, I think you just need a little of it in an office context. Maybe 2 sprays, not more. It has quite good longevity, and you will smell rich, confident and feminine.
How does scentbird work? Do you like it?
You subscribe month-to-month or can buy packages of 3, 6, or 12 months (the longer you commit, the more money you save). The first month gets you the holder and the 8ml decant, then you just get your selected refill after that. You sort through their offerings (think Sephora) and make a queue.
I had a coupon for “first month free” so I tried it. In hindsight, I wish I’d used it toward a 3 or 6-month pack. If I get access to another coupon I’ll probably treat myself to a subscription. In my queue are things like all the Hermes Jardins, Si, Kenzo Jungle Elephant, Cinema, Black Orchid – basically things I really like but do not need a FB of. I also hate roller balls, so 8ml sprays are more appealing. If you stick to the more high-end scents, the decant price math makes sense; if you’re going for something like DKNY BeDelicious, it’s not “worth it” (lord, typing that out sounds like buffet strategy – “load up on the crab & shrimp, skip the rolls!”)
And in case you get annoyed by these things easily (as I do), the user interface isn’t that good.
Wow! Had not heard of this but it seems wonderful for those of us who switch fragrances often and therefore hardly ever need more than 8 ml of anything. I was planning to get an Hermes “discovery set” but I’d much rather have four 8ml bottles for $60 than four 15 ml bottles for $120… etc. What a cool site.
Thanks so much for the explanation. I was having trouble gleaning the info from the site!
Global forgiveness day! I forgive you all for your enabling 😉 And speaking of enabling, L’Artisan popped up in my inbox this morning with new additions to their summer sale- Seville a l’Aube is half off!
I’m wearing Bois Farine today, which I adore- it’s always smelled like peanut butter to me. My little sister is deathly allergic to peanut butter, so PB is the delicious forbidden fruit!
You are also forgiven! Yay! Bois Farine is a little sweet for my tastes. It reminds me of a half baked snickerdoodle(OR a half naked Rockefeller according to auto correct????LOL, had to edit) rather than pnut butter.
Ha!!
Yes, apparently it is going to be discontinued, so stock up whilst it lasts? I also would like to add my forgiveness to all you enablers, here on NST and fellow blogs. How could you do this to me?
Many are called but few are chosen? Lol.
I didn’t care for Seville..for whatever reason..but is it really getting cut? They will bring it back later maybe.
Bois Farine smells like PB to me too!
Day off work doing housework today, and have been testing a couple of things again to work out what I want to sell.. I really need to cull. On the scratch list after wearing are Narciso Rodriguez Essence, and Field Notes from Paris. They both just seem really chemical on me.
And I’d much rather have things I love if I can sell some stuff than have so-so perfumes I dont wear.
I just gave away my sample of Field Notes. Similar experience and also the smell didn’t match the description at all. It smelled like barber shop on me, not cozy Parisian cafe.
I loved that one but recently sold by bottle of Field Notes…towards the end I just got tobacco-y drier sheet. It just was not getting the love anymore.
*dryer
Yep, Elisa P. I read the description and nearly swooned. Field Notes smells nothing like what I thought it would. Very ordinary to me.
I have a similar problem with most of the Ineke collection.
me to
Too! Grrrrrr
My SOTD is Santal Blush by Tom Ford. This probably isn’t considered a summer / spring fragrance, but I still love it and love wearing it regardless. My favorite Tom Ford fragrance!
oooh, scentfrom..this is on my test list. How is it compared to other sandalwood scents you have tried, if any?
Honestly, it doesn’t really compare in my opinion. I researched some other fragrances that had sandlewood in it that I enjoyed (Burberry Body, Sensous Nude, Deseo). No comparison to me, all are beautiful in their own right.
Santal Blush , in my opinion, is in a category all by itself. It is strangely unique. I love it!
Must try. I am liking Tom Ford scents more and more.
I’m wearing Atelier Cologne’s Grand Neroli, which is a lovely citrus.
Love that one! One of my two favorite neroli scents. The other is the discontinued Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Flora Nerolia.
Wearing Atelier Cologne’s Mistral Patchouli, from which I don’t get patch at all. It’s got a light, citrus-y top note supported by something deeper. Overall brisk and refreshing, and lasts for hours.
Ugh, having a wrongly-scented day. I picked Orange Sanguine this morning, because it was right in front of me, and it’s a humid day out. But it has turned out to be all wrong, and I regretted it almost instantly. Should have gone for Matin d’Orage or something else instead.
Ha Missionista, your generosity led to my purchasing a full bottle of M d’O! Perfect for when I cannot decide what to apply. Haven’t been disappointed yet.
Ha! I think this is my first enabler pin! Seriously though, I’m delighted you liked it so much.
Consider yourself firmly enabling 😉
I hate when that happens! Usually I can deal until about lunch time and then I hope it has faded enough to apply something else.
Orange Sanguine doesn’t work for me either.
SOTD is Stephane Humbert Lucas 777 Rose de Petra that I got from a sample swap. So far I’m liking it. Reminds me of a more muted, sweeter Lyric.
I love Rose de Petra, and was wearing it last night. I agree it’s reminiscent of Lyric, I love Lyric too, but it’s quite a commitment – once I spray that on, it’s with me a long time 🙂
The Rose de Petra is softer and it didn’t last more than a few hours although I’m sure the high heat and humidity didn’t help. I only have about .75mlso vial. I would love to try it sprayed. Have u tried others from this line?
Forgiveness Day….that’s something I could/should work on maybe….though sometimes not always easy..I guess it should be? Idk.
note: hope this is ok to post..the link was to a Christian site..so it sorta fits(?)/may be ok?…but NOT to get into religious discussions at all but an example of the topic of forgiveness is the following:
When Peter asked Jesus, “How many times shall I forgive a man, seven times?” Jesus replied “Seventy times seven”. Obviously, it doesn’t mean after 490 times we aren’t to forgive anymore. Lol I don’t know if I’d reach 245 lol. Again, something to work on.
Ahem…about scent…testing Tauerville Vanilla Flash from the drawing(thanks again:)). Reminds me of a more tobacco-y Spicebomb with less spice/cinnamon. I would like this more in cooler months…not when 98 degree days are the norm at this time of year.
I got a sample of Vanilla Flash by mistake recently–wanted Rose Flash–and haven’t tried it. (Should I bother to let them know they sent the wrong one?) Thank you for giving me an idea of what I have.
I like your post Omega. I have to work on forgiveness too. Forgiveness can sometimes be so hard but yet so freeing. 🙂
I’m at an engineering conference, not usually my digs. People are discussing organic rankine cycles and economised vapour injection air source heat pumps. I don’t understand anything.
I finished my talk this morning – a normal chat about how people felt when their heating/cooling was messed with, and now I’m trying to engage with complex engineering papers.
NST is great for coffee breaks. SOTD is Marni, my fail safe ‘prim and proper’ fragrance for events like these. And…I don’t mean to blag, but, on me, it lasts forever. I do moisturize mind, but still. Happy with that, still catch whiffs of it even though I applied it 8 hours ago!
Thanks for the heads up on the imperial war museum exhibit. As I live in the ‘hood, will certainly check out it.
I can empathize–I once attended a mathematics conference with a boyfriend and understood nothing. The topic was about theoretical math and there were no numbers anywhere, only symbols. Unfortunately, this was before connectivity and cell phones, so I tried to discreetly read a book.
Embracing summer with Datura Noir – felt like tropical rather than fresh today 😉
You smell good! I have been thinking about a bottle of this…
I’m wearing SL Un Lys. It’s nice and well done, but not much more than that (for me). I have a full bottle – it was a gift -, but I don’t wear it often.
I’m pretty good at forgiving people, but I’m working on not getting irrationally angry when people walk too slowly (in my estimation) in front of me and SLOW ME DOWN.
I hate that too, and I’m not that quick a walker, not slow either.
I’ve been working today with a barely functioning computer system that made snails on a leisurely day out look like they are in a hurry.
I’ve just started watering my garden, one of the few things to calm me down.
Oh, a slow computer is a horrible thing. And I’m afraid gardening would not work in my case…
Meanwhile I must try to forgive rushing people who carelessly brush past me and hit me with their bodies or their bags, not stopping to think that bumping into someone could actually cause pain and/or injury. Not everyone is blessed with a sturdy body today, and no one gets to be sturdy forever.
We should probably start some sort of joint support group to solve these issues 🙂 Just to be clear, I completely understand that my annoyance is ridiculous (and I don’t let it show). I just don’t understand why I feel like that in the first place… These five seconds I lose being stuck behind someone certainly aren’t worth this level of irritation.
I assure you Leathermountain that I will always take care not to bump into people or hit them with a bag. I’m just impatient, not a commendable part of my person but there you are. And you are right: none of us are sturdy forever…
You two don’t even require forgiveness! Sadly, some of my fellow denizens do.
In Fire Island in defiance of my grouchy mood. I am even irritated that it is Forgiveness Day! In-law irritations….. Grumble grumble. Apparently I am NOT being very observant.
Fire island is an odd one. Some days it smells like a bike ride on Nantucket, other days a strong foaming floral soap, and other days a chemical mess. Today I’m in lather up to my elbows….
Yeah, Forgiveness Day–who says? Global?! I hope the foaming floral soap smothers the in-law irritation.
This took me a while. I thought, Oakland to Fire Island? Not the usual getaway. Oh, it’s the in-laws. Hang on, the whole island smells of soap? A chemical mess? What the…. oh yeah. It’s a perfume.
You made me laugh out loud! Best reason to be wearing this perfume ever!!
Have a little headache to go along with my back pain today. No fun. And I have a chiropractor appointment today, so something light was needed – L’Occitane Honey Gentle Water it is.
Yikes, hope your back feels better!
Thanks! Hoping the chiropractor can help.
I hope that you feel better soon and you smell great.
There was FINALLY a cool down last night. After swimming and eating the umpteenth salad I got to experience fresh breezes coming through. There was cloud cover this morning, even!
Today was a spraying of Florida water followed by DKNY on pulse points. I smell like a very fresh Caribbean barbershop!
I forgive the world’s it’s collective nastiness, greed and stupidity, and I forgive myself for being suckered into any of it. In exchange, I promise to make the world better in my own insignificant and tiny way.
Good thoughts!
We finally had 5 days of beautiful summer weather, and I was lucky to spend most of it in outdoor activities, swimming, bbq’s, fireworks, and a great baseball game last night.
Today it’s back to what has been ‘summer’ here this year – rain and cold. I need quiet warmth in my fragrance today but still want ‘summer’ so chose EL Sensuous Nude edp – perfect! Sometimes the musk in this is too reminiscent of Cashmere Mist, which I dislike, but today it’s in check under the slightly spicy cozy coconut layer and Nude is wearing like the skinscent it’s meant to be.
I love SN. It is a beautiful scent. It is quite light. I only wish it were a bit stronger. I went through my FB very quickly. Have you tried Sensuous Noir? It’s a nice one too.
Yes, I love Sensuous Noir in the winter. The Sensuous line works well on me and I have all of them, some were gifts and some I bought. I enjoy the original edp in the fall, Noir in winter, the Sensuous edt (little known) in the springtime – I love this one, sparkling and airy with a prominent magnolia note, and the Nude in summer (I have both the edp and the edt, which is nice on hot days.). Plus a tiny bottle of extrait that was a GWP a few years ago. A bottle for every season! (Oh, and the body cream, too, mmm, love the body cream.). 🙂
I would like this body cream…liked the Pleasures cream
The S nude cream that is Noir was a lil too much like JS Fancy Nights to me with that patch blend in there
Scent twins…SN..it’s like the smell of fancy deodorant to me. not really perfumey but like a breeze of perfume..or ya, fancy deodorant. like to wear when I want something simple and light.
I can’t remember what I sprayed on this morning! And I can’t smell it any longer to remind me. Pathetic. Ah! Something by Yves Rocher, pleasant but fleeting. My SOTD ha-ha.
The latest fragrance for those who want to smell like they are not wearing perfume, “Fleeting.”
You could make a fortune selling that.
Sadly, it has already been done! Grrrr. My favorite is En Passant.
Actually, Robin, that would be a good question for a day’s discussion–what is your favorite fleeting fragrance-the one you wear frequently eventhough it disappears faster than snow off a dyke.
Hmmm…will think about that. I think so many people won’t buy short-lived fragrances that we might not get many answers?
Un Zest de Rose, which is just a nice crisp rose. It helped me through a very tiring day at work. Favourite Rosine is still Ecume though.
SOTD = Chanel No. 19 EDP
I doused and a half today (7 sprays!!!) – you should try it – it cut right through the humidity. It’s so humid that the birds (and there seem to be a lot of the little ones) were either just hopping about or flying really low.
Ha! Looks like we had the same idea today with the humidity. I sprayed a lot today too. 🙂
No 19 is so awesome when you put on too much! Total swoon!
Sounds like too much is just enough, then!
Agreed!
Hot and humid today, so I shower-sprayed Eau de Merveilles. It’s holding on – barely. Each time I go outside I feel it zaps the power of the fragrance down even further.
Rochas Audace PdT. After some of the soapiness burns off, it’s very smooth. Would be better for fall than a hot summer day, but I don’t have to go outdoors, fortunately.
BTW, Angela reviewed this last year:
https://nstperfume.com/2014/11/17/rochas-audace-fragrance-review/
The new Balmain Ivoire again. This is going to be a repurchase, i just know it. My 15 ml or whatever small amount I have is running out quickly!
Okay, just repurchased, for $25 on ebay. Donatella, It Begins Again!
I’m so excited! I just received a package of ten different minis, for an average cost of $7.67 each.
Ooh, what’d you get?
Awesome!! Do tell!
Forgiveness day? Well, forgive me, world, for wearing 3 spritzed of anything on an airplane. Tobacco Cognac, today, which is is unfortunately being overpowered by some sharp, nose tingling scents I shouldn’t have tried at the airport Body Shop. Looking forward to getting to my hotel so I can scrub… and reapply the good stuff.
All I have to do is type the letter “n” into my search bar and it automatically and immediately fills in nstperfme. Hmmm, I guess I visit this site a lot!
SOTD is Tom Ford Black Orchid, one of the Non Blonde’s favorites for summer.
How do you like this one? I only need a few spritzes (is that a word)… of this one. It literally lasts all day.
You’re right about it lasting! I like it a lot but I wish the strange notes lasted longer, the truffle note–which smells like rotting fruit to me. It gets to the patchouli dry down too fast. I think the heat of summer amplifies the parts I find most appealing.
I’m in Chanel Coco today, from a generous Nordstrom sample. I’d forgotten what it smells like (in my head I kept imagining the smell of Coco Mademoiselle). This is quite nice, though perhaps a little too powdery for today’s warmth.
Still love that one!
Coco is just the most awesome oriental fragrance ever. It will always be one of my fav. It can be tricky in the summer. Just the tiniest dab of Coco parfum at the base of the neck can be wonderful in heat though.
+1 on Coco love that lovely goodness. I wear it during the summer..lighter sprays -maybe-lol. The only fume that’s hard to douse in summer outdoors for me is Poison…as I found out..seemed to attract bees! Lol
*clovey goodness..stupid auto correct.
Morning, all. Forgiveness day, huh? I’m sure lots of people would say I need forgiveness, but I honestly can’t think of anything that I need to forgive. Holding grudges and remembering wrongs is too much like hard work, and I’d be bound to mix them up if I tried.
My diary promises that today will be perfectly horrible. Aiee. Usually for these sorts of days I choose Femme, but it’s so cold today that I’m trying Coromandel instead. It seems warmer to me than Femme, luscious and heady in that restrained Chanel sort of way. I think it will help me stay in the present: there are very many things I’d rather think about than the business of the meetings ahead. I just hope I haven’t sprayed so exuberantly that I asphyxiate all my serious colleagues.
You smell fabulous!
Coromandel is a like a discreet, tight hug from a rich aunt.
you smell wonderful!
“Discreet, tight hug from a rich aunt.” Marvelous!
Really like Cormandel a lot. I had a sample and drained it within 2 times using it.I see a FB in my future, but not for a while. You smell like a million bucks.
Coro has grown on me…I am not the biggest patch fan…but Chanel seems to do pretty much everything right…except Misia and Chance flankers.
You smell Fabulous!
Oh, wow, thank you all. I love Coromandel too, and I’m happy to report it is working as I wished it to. This morning I tootled through a staffing meeting, pattered into a timetabling meeting (really? who cares?) and am about to go to my first Exam Board of the week. Yay for Exam Boards. Anyhooo, Coromandel has stayed with me and helped keep me grounded.
Working from home today, so testing various L’Artisans. Up til now, Safran Troublant is the only L’Artisan I own a FB of; we’ll see if any other L’Artisans migrate to the ‘ponder buying’ list by the end of the day….
SOTD for me is Juste un Reve. I sprayed quite liberally this morning and so the scent is still with me and just delicious!
I was in a “rose-y” mood today, so I went with the original Anna Sui.
Sideris for me today because it always smells good on me; I was a bit disappointed in the last couple of things I sampled and wanted something fail-safe
I love that scent. You smell gorgeous!
Thank you
We all need a fail-safe. Sideris is great!
That would be a good project or poll question…what is your fail safe perfume? The one that always works? The one you reach for when nothing seems quite right?
I want international forgetting day, lol! Forgiving only works if the forgetting part is there too. And I forget everything anyway, so it works for me.
SOTam was Cartier Baiser Vole edp. So light and yet super flowery. SOTpm is now Guerlain Vetiver. I needed something to bust through the super humidity we’re having today. Cheers!
I’m in the lovely Amyris Femme today, courtesy of the lovely C.H. (Thanks again!). This is what I wanted Ciel to be yesterday.
I have forgiven globally, but domestically is another story…
SOTD has been Byredo Inflourescence. I just grabbed it off my dresser and sprayed and it still smells lovely.
Oh, so late to the party today. Couldn’t figure out what to wear this morning, hemmed and hawed, and finally picked one of my favorite go-to’s: Shalimar edp.
Is this EVER wrong?! Nope, didn’t think so 😉
Nope, never wrong!
I agree!
Eau de Merveilles for me today. I had an appointment and needed low wattage. This scent is so lovely during summer. After spraying on myself, I spritzed some onto a cotton ball and tucked it into my bra. I can still smell it. I hope people don’t find that incredibly odd. 🙂
Heavens, no, that’s not strange! When SAs give me a spritzed card of something I think I might like, I often tuck it under my bra strap to see if it’s still as nice when it warms up.
SOTD was l’Artisan’s Voleur de Roses. This was my first time to wear it, and now I can’t believe that I’ve let so many years go by without even trying it. I’m usually guarded in my affections, but this is instant love!
Ah! Scribbling this into my growing list of roses to try…
