Posted by Robin on 28 May 2015 13 Comments

Katy Perry Mad Potion

Katy Perry will launch Mad Potion, a new perfume for women.

The notes feature vanilla orchid, peony, musk apple (or apple musk?), Bourbon vanilla, jasmine, amber, fluffy musk and sexy musk.

Katy Perry Mad Potion will be available at Drugshop24 in Germany, in 15 and 30 ml Eau de Parfum.

(via drugshop24.de)

Update: it's apple musk, and the fragrance is described as an oriental musk "rich with deliciously seductive vanillas - sourced from all around the world." It's also available in 50 and 100 ml.

“Fluffy musk” AND “sexy musk”? It’s like musk Inception!

I don’t like to be negative, but this sounds like the most heinous thing I’ve ever heard of.

And the bottle looks like a light bulb.

Actually, it would make quite a nice lamp for a pre-teen’s bedroom.

I thought, Good god, her team is REALLY cranking them out, because they’re just everywhere here in Canada, but apparently she’s done only seven in the last six years, which I think shows admirable restraint. I’m not even kidding: I thought she had at least fifteen or so.

They’re really running the gamut, musk-wise.

All they need is Elon Musk.

I like musky scents, but I am trying to imagine the olfactory difference between “fluffy musk” and “sexy musk”. Hmmmm…

I don’t think there’s enough musk in there.
