Lush's Gorilla Perfume has launched Death & Decay, a new fragrance in Series 3: Death, Decay and Renewal.* Series 3 also features Smuggler's Soul, Kerbside Violet, All Good Things and Dad's Garden Lemon Tree.
The pure scent of lily mingles with over-ripe tones of indole to give this fragrance a pungent, narcotic headiness. Let it transport you to a serene space where the fullness of beauty and its inevitable decay can be contemplated without fear. The message is one of meditation, acceptance and optimism delivered in a glorious, floral flourish.
Notes include ylang ylang, rose, jasmine and tonka bean.
Lush Death & Decay is currently available at Lush UK, in 30 ml, £30.

I really hope that Lush is going to expand their offerings in the U.S. I am underwhelmed by the current choices of perfume available on their U.S. site.
Same here…but so far, everything in the regular line has eventually launched here, so assume we just need to wait.
I emailed lush about smugglers soul in December. I was told that it would be coming to north America but they didn’t give me a release date. I just sent them another email so I’ll update if I get any new information
Okay, I just got a response from one of their customer service representatives. Releases date still unknown (at last at customer service level) but she promised to email me when she gets an update. I think the perfumes are their only products that aren’t manufactured in Canada so I guess that complicates distribution a little bit. I know we can order from lush UK but their shipping charge for perfume is prohibitively expensive.
That was quick, thanks for the update!
We only have Smugglers Soul here, as of a couple weeks ago, but as half of the last collection has now gone too im hoping its to make room for these!
I love indolic, heady white flowers so im looking forward to trying this. Dont think the name is very attractive though..
The name is almost like a challenge, LOL!
I hope you get these soon! I have been enjoying very much going through the current catalogue at their shop in Islington. They resonate with me as the company is based in Dorset where I am from. Death and Decay sounds quite gothic and sad to me but it doesn’t smell that way – more naturally beautiful and medititive.
Good to know, thanks!
