Lush Smuggler’s Soul, Kerbside Violet & All Good Things ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 17 July 2014 15 Comments

Lush Smuggler's Soul, Kerbside Violet & All Good Things

Lush's Gorilla Perfume will launch a new series of fragrances under the name Death, Decay and Renewal. Three of the scents are currently available for sale in the UK: Smuggler's Soul, Kerbside Violet and All Good Things.

Smuggler's Soul ~ "The Smuggler’s Soul is deep, dangerous and intoxicating, join us on our journey to the roots of sandalwood and let it enrapture your heart. With two types of sandalwood oil, enjoy a warm, woody and rich fragrance that can soothe and uplift even the darkest of moods." In Solid Perfume.

Kerbside Violet ~ "Kerbside Violet is a rebirth, influenced by chance encounters on the street that spark a fleeting interest that just as quickly disappears around the corner. As fresh and brave as any urban pioneer has to be, Kerbside Violet reminds us to look out for the tiny revolution growing through the cracks of a concrete jungle around us. Fresh, sweet, uplifting." In 10 ml.

All Good Things ~ "Inspired by the bittersweet ending of a relationship, All Good Things is a sweet, boozy stumble down a basement staircase in a cloud of candyfloss, and black pepper. All Good Things pays tribute to a relationship that was much valued, now ended and celebrated as an irresistible fragrance." In 10 ml.

I don’t know, the “boozy stumble down a basement staircase” is not something I’m interested in experiencing!

I’d certainly rather wear it than re-enact it 😉

I’m with you on the Sandalwood… but only solid format. I like sprays….

Will have to wait & see what happens when this series officially launches…no idea if the solid is all we’ll get or not.

Ok, watching a video in which they talk about these scents, sounds like all of them will eventually be in both liquid & solid.

But unfortunately, though those tins look really cute, they wouldn’t be nearly as convenient as the twist tube format of original Gorilla range. The Gorilla twisters are pretty much the only format of solid perfume that is easily useable…

Agree, really would rather have a twist up.

I totally want to try these, especially the boozy stumble down the staircase.

Boozily stumbling along with you, poodle, because that one sounds quite interesting.

Lush has really done some good work recently, so I’m hopeful here.

Agree. And if I understand correctly, there will be a total of 12 fragrances, so plenty of chances 🙂

They had me at “boozy stumble”. At the “basement staircase”, they lost me again.

I was a massive fan of Lush’s prior existence as Cosmetics To Go many years ago – wore their Ginger fragrance, which is still available via Lush’s ‘Retro’ line I believe, but also wore Hay – which if memory serves was actually supposed to be a men’s post shaving oil/balm – but I used it as fragrance & everyone loved it!
