Lolita Lempicka Elle L’Aime Eau a la Folie ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 7 August 2014 10 Comments

Lolita Lempicka Elle L'Aime Eau à la Folie

Lolita Lempicka will launch Elle L'Aime Eau à la Folie, a new more intense version of 2013's Elle L'Aime fragrance for women. (The lighter version, L L’Aime, launched earlier this year.)

The notes include bergamot, mandarin, jasmine, ylang ylang, amber, myrrh and sandalwood.

Lolita Lempicka Elle L'Aime Eau à la Folie will be available in 80 ml Eau de Parfum Extrême.

(via marieclaire.fr)

Update: the description from Lolita Lempicka... "A charming ripple of pleasure becomes a shock wave of passion! ELLE L’AIME comes in an intense version and makes heads turn as it wafts by. An electric white floral, intoxicated with flowers and amber. [...] An eau de parfum extrême with an intense concentration of 23% like an extract."

Perhaps an intense version would be better, maybe.

Ok for some strange reason, I totally thought this was talking about that latest Boucheron, lol, must be the gold bottle thing…but comment still applies I suppose. I did like that latest, well, wanted to like the latest Boucheron but found it too plain, missing something..meh.

Oh, hey thx..haven’t been on here as much I guess.. but ya, the pear..it’s all coming back to me. Perhaps pear was in the first one too? Pear…it’s like hitting the brakes hard every single time. It smells like such a synthetic sweet note…and does weird stuff on my skin. Oh wells, I still believe in Boucheron..that they may come up with something fab down the line at some point, hopefully. I may be one of the few that liked Miss Boucheron(pink pepper, I know!). I liked it in all its pink peppered glory. In fact, I just poured some all over me:). I dig it:). Another one’s junk is another one’s treasure:). As much as I have dissed perfumes on here..I sometimes forget that hey, that may just be someone’s treasure.

Isn’t this a violation of the naming conventions for flankers? I thought “Eau” meant lighter. More intense should be “Intense” or “Elixir” or “Absolue.” Has the world gone mad?

I think Eau de Elle L’Aime would be a no no, but Eau a la Folie seems ok to me. But true that people won’t automatically assume it’s the stronger version…

I sort of hate the bottle.

Still pondering a mini of the original LL, though.
