Boucheron will launch Place Vendôme Elixir, a new flanker to 2013's Place Vendôme fragrance for women. Place Vendôme Elixir was inspired by the evening light on the Place Vendôme in Paris, the location of Boucheron's flagship store.
Place Vendôme Elixir is meant as a richer, more sultry variation on the original, which already comes in two versions, Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette. The notes include mandarin, pink pepper, pear, jasmine, rose, orange blossom, rosewood and vanilla.
I will update with sizes and concentration when I can.

Update: Place Vendôme Elixir is available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
Just realized the bottle is suppose to look like the Vendome column!
Yep 🙂
The first one got a meh from me, juice wise..not complex as some previous Boucherons, or as lovely..and a bit sweet and generic. Love the bottle though in person. I always worry richer means sweeter when it comes to dept store scents. I will still sniff it, it’s Boucheron…haven’t gave up yet.
I just saw the pear note, this will get a pass from me. Was pear in the original one? I hate pear…….why is it so popular now? Bummer.
I don’t remember pear, but then also don’t remember the original all that well…didn’t make a big impression on me.
I daresay Place Vendome Elixir was inspired by the need fragrances have nowadays to have an “elixir” follow the main fragrance.
That may be followed by a “Place Vendome Absolue”, “Place Vendome Eau Sensuelle” and “Place Vendome So Chic”.
Yep! And Noir Intense.
