Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess 2014 ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 7 March 2014 18 Comments

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess 2014

Estee Lauder has launched the 2014 version of Bronze Goddess, the brand's yearly limited edition summer fragrance (see our review of Bronze Goddess 2008).

The fragrance that worships every inch of you. A sensuous, sun-drenched blend of Bergamot and Mandarin, cooled with Tahitian Gardenia Petals and Coconut, warmed with Amber, Sandalwood and Vetiver. All heat. All desire. All woman.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess 2014 can be found now at Macy's, in 100 ml Eau Fraiche (above left, $62) and 50 ml Shimmering Body Oil (above right, $40).

(via macys)

Update: for 2014 there will also be a 240 ml Body Splash, which I have not yet seen in stores, and a whipped body creme.

Is it the same juice every year?

Pretty much…if they’re making minor alterations, they’re not saying.

It smells a lot different than Capri or the one before that. I was one of three people who actually liked Capri. The whipped body creme is nice–fragrant and not heavy–important when you live in Phoenix.

I could use a re-fill! Hope it’s as good as it used to be!

Yay! I think I’ll finally get it this year. I always wait until it’s sold out.

    No flankers this year?

No new flanker, and the bottle design is same as last year. Boo.

I’m not gonna lie, I love the bottle. It’s simple and sexy. It’s like a swimsuit that has nothing to hide.

Thumbs up and definitely getting a bottle (or 2!) of the body oil!
Why give up on the new flanker bottle though? :(

I’m a fan of the original edt (or eau de fraiche or whatever silly name they give it!). How does the body oil fragrance compare?

I’ve gotten the dry oil in the past. I wonder about the shimmer oil.

I guess I am in the minority on tho one. Although I am a fan of pretty much everything EL has, this one I can do without. I bought this fragrance s while back and it just didn’t mix well on me. I always got headaches when I wore it. Not one of my favorites.

    Marjorie,
The body oil IS the original. I personally think it’s better than the Eau Fraiche. The scent seems different.
The carrier/base always has an effect on the scent.

I think I’m getting one too this year. Finally! Love the simplicity of the bottle.
