Lush Rose Jam, Snow Fairy, Snowcake, Ponche + a surprise ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 19 November 2013 20 Comments

Lush Rose Jam fragrance

On Friday, Lush will launch a set of 5 limited edition perfumes based on fragrances from their popular bath, body & hair products, and including several that have been launched before in this form. This year's set: Rose Jam, Snow Fairy, Snowcake, Ponche, and one that will be announced on Friday — it's a surprise.

Rose Jam ~ "the decadent scent of Turkish rose and uplifting citrus."

Snow Fairy ~ "a sweet and cheery combination of cotton candy and vanilla."

Snowcake ~ "the comforting scent of almond icing and marzipan."

Ponche ~ "inspired by traditional Mexican punch, this smells of fresh berries and fruits plus warming spices."

Lush Rose Jam, Snow Fairy, Snowcake, Ponche and ? will be available in 30 ml, in the bottle style shown above. They will be sold while supplies last; the sale starts at 5 pm EST/2 pm PST on Lush USA.

I'm sorry, but I know nothing about availability in other countries — do comment if you know!

(via press release)

Update: see Jessica's review of Rose Jam shower gel and Anjali's review of Snowcake soap.

Another update: these will be sold online only!

And still another update: Scent #5 will be Calacas, a lime and jelly bean fragrance.

Rose Jam and Ponche seem worth trying, the others don’t get my interest much. I know RJ has some good reviews on here, may have to try it! I do like Lush, from what I’ve tried from them!

I am guessing Rose Jam will go very quickly.

Nothing at all about these on the UK website – sigh. Would like to try the Rose Jam.

Maybe check on Friday? I think they’re not yet on the US website either.

I would try Rose Jam and Snowcake. But Lush is nowhere available in this part of Europe.

I can’t wait. If I don’t score some Rose Jam I will be despondent.

I rushed out and bought the RJ shower gel when you posted a review and just adore it. I will try and snag some perfume at my local store this week. I love some of Lush’s products but every time I go into that store I wonder how the staff can stand the smell?! Too much of a good thing…

These will NOT be in store…you have to buy online!

I am no saint when it comes to buying unsniffed but it’s basically what will happen since these won’t be in-store. I do have the Rose Jam Body Shower Gel so I know what it smells like – worth buying unsniffed 🙂

My pure guess on the ? “Surprise” is Flying Fox!

Oh, Flying Fox…that would be VERY tempting. But I haven’t even drained my bottle of Silky Underwear so really, I should just not even check on Friday!

Oooh, I just looked at the website…it could also be Sonic Death Monkey…I would so buy that for the name alone!

Oh let it be Flying Fox! Love that stuff, just emptied my second little bottle. If it failed to work as a perfume I’d be so disappointed though.

Ponche to me smells like gummi bears.

I just bought some Rose Jam body wash this past weekend (thanks to Jessica for creating that lemming). It’s nice. There’s citrus, but it also feels very honeyed to me — that’s just the feeling I get from it, it may not really be any kind of a honey note. I might be interested in 30ml of the scent version depending on the price. I’m on such a rose kick lately.
