What a coincidence – I just came over to NST to email you this gem from The Onion:

Thought #1: Who is Adam Levine?

Thought #2: How many celebrities claim that they, unlike all those other celebrities, *actually* played a role in their scent and then use that line about how it’s unique on each person, like it’s a breakthrough in fragrance?

Thought #3: How does “classic” and “not offensive” translate into women whipping each other with riding crops?

Thought #4: Maybe I’m just feeling cranky and need to go make my breakfast . . .

Nothing classic about the ad, lame.

He’s one of those celebrities that I can’t imagine has fans but probably actually has a lot of them. He was on American Horror Story Asylum and he is killed within the first five minutes but his death is stretched out over a few episodes (there are multiple timelines in the show). Besides that he’s in a band that makes music that sounds like it was created for radio play and nothing else.

So, what you’re saying is that you *don’t* have a lot of respect for him? 😉

Thank you. Thought #3 was absolutely the 1st thing that crossed my mind.

Happy to oblige! Sometimes snarky is exactly the right response. 🙂

Sniffed and blah, at Kohls, of course.
The ad, they should have left all the lame chick sequences out. Just makes the ad look dumb. The bottle is blah too.

I heard one of the 2, can’t remember which, was good. Tried to smell it at Macy’s but my local store didn’t have them.

Hmmm. A fragrance being sold with images of horses, motorcycles, an old truck, flowers blooming, half naked women falling over each other AND those two vintage ladies sniffing bouquets at :58?

Adam Levine Perfumes, the first perfume line made exclusively for lesbians.

      ROTFL !
What’s with the sado masochistic images of women ,eh ?!
Oh Adam Levine- heard of him …vaguely, not sure what it is he does though.

I hope these are as ridiculously bad as this ad because there is no way I would allow myself to buy them after seeing it. Never been a Levine Fan and now even less so. For those wondering who he is, he’s in the band Maroon 5 (6?) not sure and is a judge on American Idol or the Voice? Again, equally bored with his other ventures . . . . .

Not even interested in smelling this.
I’m with Robin; I am not really keen on celebrity fragrances.
Has anyone ever noticed, they all smell pretty much alike? Usually loud and offensive!

I admit that I haven’t watched the clip or seen the ad anywhere else so can’t comment on those. However, the feminine fragrance is actually pretty good. Spicy, woody floral with not a fruit to be found. It’s a pretty good buy for the money IMO. It absolutely does not smell like all the other celebrity fragrances out there and is worth a sniff.
