Hugo Boss Damask & Oud ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 1 May 2013 8 Comments

Hugo Boss Damask & Oud

Hugo Boss will launch Damask & Oud in June. The new fragrance for men joins 2011's Boss The Collection, and like the original five scents in the series was “inspired by the feel, texture, mood and heritage of the fine fabrics used in Boss tailoring”.

Notes include white pepper, saffron, rose, incense, oud, cedar, papyrus and guaiac wood.

Hugo Boss Damask & Oud will be available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette, €110.

Sounds like something i would like.

Hmm, this is 110 euros and your link lists the others in the collection as costing 110 pounds? One of these must be incorrect. Im hoping it is priced in euros, since that would make it cheaper for me after the USD conversion.

You’re right, that sounds like weird pricing, but just checked the source again and that’s what it says…we’ll have to wait & see.

Dior Homme bottle and the last to follow the trend of oud and an “exclusive” line.
Once again fashion designers pushing people who really like fragrances to the niche market.

I’ve never tried any of the Boss scents, because Chandler Burr was so, so witheringly funny and vicious in his descriptions of them. Am I missing anything?

Nope. But I haven’t tried any of this particular series.
