Molinard Habanita L’Esprit ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 22 April 2013 11 Comments

Molinard Habanita L'Esprit

Molinard will launch Habanita L'Esprit, a new flanker to their iconic 1924 fragrance, Habanita. A new version of Habanita Eau de Parfum was released in 2012. Habanita L'Esprit is reportedly airier, fresher and more floral than the original.

Notes for the floriental perfume include lemon, cistus, nutmeg, heliotrope, mimosa, rose, jasmine, patchouli, vetiver, benzoin and musk.

Molinard Habanita L'Esprit will be available in 30 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum, and in a solid compact.

    Shocked, but not surprised. 🙁

I still haven’t smelled the 2012 version — but who knows, might be fabulous.

I think I like it better in black, but it’s darned nice in white too. Hoping they won’t do it in pink before it’s all through.

I thought something similar Robin “At least it’s not pink!”. I really hope that they don’t do a pink version, which wouldn’t fit the original Habanita at all

Good grief. Nothing sacred anymore 🙂
Whatever incarnation of Habanita with no tobacco is just like a car with no engine. Yes, looks like a car, but it does not go anywhere.
Can’t they just call it something else?!

Presumably this will sell better. Hopefully it won’t be completely unrelated!

But of course it’s “airier and fresher”. *Rolling eyes* I’ll take mine dirtier and skankier please.

I haven’t smelled any version of the Habanitas yet – and I want to! A new quest…
