Holiday fragrance gifts 2012, part 4

From Cartier, "Cartier's iconic masculine fragrance, Déclaration, is wrapped in a genuine piece of leather for a limited edition holiday experience." $100 for 100 ml at Nordstrom.

 

John Varvatos coffret

From John Varvatos, a coffret with 15 ml bottles of John Varvatos, Vintage, Artisan and Artisan Black; all in Eau de Toilette. $49.50 at Sephora.

 

Byredo travel set, Sunday Cologne

From Byredo, Sunday Cologne ("Citrusy and crisp, fleeting in its solidity, the ageless cologne the way you used to know it has been fitted with a new suit, baring its ankles. A tad spavaldo perhaps, but forever faithful, like a Sunday.") in a travel spray set — $110 for three 12 ml spray refills, $120 for the leather case, available in a variety of colors. Cheaper options include Sunday Cologne Body Lotion (225 ml for $65) or Sunday Cologne Body Wash (225 ml for $50).

 

MCMC Fragrances candle, Dude No. 1

From MCMC Fragrances, a candle in the Dude No. 1 scent: "Dude No. 1 is inspired by the man in my life. With notes of Virginia cedarwood, sandalwood, coriander and pink peppercorn. This candle is hand-poured in Brooklyn, with a blend of soy, vegetable and beeswax, and a 100% cotton wick. Approximate burn time of 50 hours." $48.

NY Yankees bath set

For the more youthful gentleman on your list, a Yankees "Game Ready" gift set, with bubble bath and 2 in 1 shampoo (both apple scented) plus a Yankees rubber ducky. (There's a pink set for girls, too, scented with strawberry.) $10 at NY Yankees Fragrance.

    I like the idea of mini sizes from John Varvatos and I like the Sunday Cologne travel spray. It made me want to try this particular fragrance from Byredo line.
