Up for grabs: Aura by Swarovski & Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Cherry Blossom

Posted by Robin on 22 May 2012 53 Comments — Comments are closed

Aura by Swarovski

What is it: A 30 ml bottle of Aura by Swarovski Eau de Parfum and a 100 ml bottle of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Cherry Blossom Eau de Toilette. Both were used for testing and are mostly full.

How do I get it: For a chance to win, leave a comment telling me that you live in the US. Also, please tell me about your favorite mainstream spring fragrance release.

Be sure to use the “Post a comment” box; do not reply to another comment! All replies to comments will be deleted!

The contest will be open until noon or so on Friday, and I'll announce the winner next Tuesday.

The fine print: Don't enter the contest unless I have permission to use the email address in your reader account to contact you. If the email address in your reader account is incorrect, you might want to fix it. If you are the winner and you fail to send me your mailing details within a couple weeks, I’ll give your prize away to someone else. Sadly, it sometimes usually takes me a month to mail a package. Reasonable care will be taken in the packaging and mailing of your prize, but if the contents are lost or damaged or fail to please you for any reason whatsoever, I’m sorry but I cannot replace them.

To me, vintage Diorissimo = spring in a bottle. Azemour’s been my favorite from fairly current releases, but I’m also excitedly waiting to get my nose on L.I.L.Y.!

Thank you for the give-away Robin, I’m in the U.S.!

My favorite mainstream spring fragrances right now are Gucci Guilty (for some reason that one really speaks to me, even though I don’t usually like those kind of scents) and Victoria’s Secret Sheer Love.

I live in the USA. I’m almost shocked to say this but as far as recent releases for spring that are mainstream I think I actually like Madonna’s scent, Truth or Dare. It’s actually a nice white floral. Not something I would typically reach for but in spring and summer I do like me some white flowers every now and then.

There are just so many new fragrances coming out that it is hard to say, especially since I love perfume so much it is hard for me to decide, just to name 1 I would say that my favorite Spring release this year is Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina:-)

    I live in the U.S.

  43. Dink says:

I live in the U.S. and I’m really debating about a full size bottle of L’eau de Chloe. I also keep sniffing Madonna’s Truth or Dare every time I head to the mall. I’ve never been a tuberose fan, but there is something about this. I also couldn’t believe the longevity as I can smell it on my arm 12 hours later! Thanks for the draw.

    I live in the US!

When I want to smell spring, I reach for Hermes Un Jardin sur le Toit. Interestingly, I almost always pair it with Un Jardin en Mediterranee. I don’t know if this is an unconscious indication that Toit might be ever-so-slightly too sweet for me? (Coming from the gal who prefers florals and fruits.) Or perhaps I just love the woody smell of Mediterranee but need to temper it with a spritz of sweetness.
