I was underwhelmed by Chanel No.19 Poudré when I first tried it. Perhaps I should go back and try it again.

A lovely version of sweet, even for those who don’t like sweet, but most daring?
It’s about as daring as a pink tutu.

Well, no one expected Prada to release a sweet perfume. So, in that way it is daring.

Last year the winner was Womanity, which IMHO was not super daring either. I guess you have to pick the most daring within a pretty narrow field of mainstream scents — Candy probably qualifies as much as any other.

Prada Candy = Aqualina Pink Sugar for grownups.
A good fragrance but very safe!

Perhaps Prada Candy is considered daring in that the target audience is likely to be turned off by the idea of a “sweet” scent – and we love it anyway!

Nice Choices!!!!!!!! No. 19 Poudre I was Expecting to LOATHE… in all actuality, it is, to My Nose, Extremely Pretty! which i guess No. 19 shouldn’t ever be Catergorized as PRETTY… but this is targeted towards a Clientele that may find No. 19 a little scary and daunting (which it kinda is… can overwhelm a gal without some Character and Backbone!) I was MIGHTILY Impressed with Polge’s Creation so much so I have to buy a bottle for me Mum!

Burberry Body…. Instant LOVE ATTACK! Knew the moment i saw the bottle I’d Love it and i wasn’t at all wrong… So Sensual, and Graceful. Really a very Classy Sexy Scent, although again. Like The Much Maligned Gucci Guilty… I have heard nothing but scorn heaped upon it…. Oh Well… One Man’s Meat….

Prada Candy…. Ok… for simply calling it Candy was Daring! LOL! for Prada… the house that eschews anything as pedestrian as CANDY, Yes, Daring indeed! The Packaging, The Advertisements, everything about it pushes at the very fabric of what Prada is supposed to mean! then not only to Make a fragrance that isn’t Ironic in it’s name and does smell like some delicious Goody… Again… Very Much out of the Mould for the house that Miuccia Built!

I agree on Poudre. It is aimed at people who may be averse to the original, meaning that many die-hard fans of the original may not like Poudre. I seem to be one of the few that like both, but I get around it by regarding them as completelyu different fragrances for completely different occasions or moods.
