Christian Dior Patchouli Imperial ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 8 October 2011 6 Comments

Christian Dior Patchouli Impérial

Christian Dior has launched Patchouli Impérial, a new addition to the La Collection Privée Christian Dior series:

Potent and sensual, Patchouli is an essential House of Dior ingredient that took up its place at the beginning of the New Look revolution in 1947. Full of elegance, François Demachy's composition, Patchouli Impérial, is a celebration of this legendary oriental ingredient with notes as sultry as they are sophisticated. "Patchouli is a major note, the most animal of all the plant notes. It is refined, revealing unprecedented elegance."

The notes feature coriander, sandalwood and patchouli.

Christian Dior Patchouli Impérial is available in 125, 250 or 450 ml.

I’m so curious about Dior Privée releases than much of other brands. Do they really earns a “much try”??

I’m afraid I haven’t been curious enough to find out! I do hear good things about a couple of them.

It’s… nice, maybe a little flat, not very memorable. Had to spray a lot to get some lift and sillage, and still it lasted a short time. Oh well.

The only one from this series that I’ve sniffed is Mitzah and I love that one. I’m a patchouli fan, so I really do want to check this one out.

I think Mitzah and New Look were the ones I heard good things about (?)
