Up for grabs: Tauer Perfumes Cologne du Maghreb

Posted by Robin on 27 December 2011 212 Comments — Comments are closed

Tauer Perfumes Cologne du Maghreb

What is it: I have two 50 ml bottles of Tauer Perfumes Cologne du Maghreb. One is untouched; the other was used to make several large samples and is about 90% full. The first winner will get the brand new bottle, the second winner will get the nearly full bottle.

How do I get it: For a chance to win, leave a comment telling me that you live in the US. Also, please tell us about your favorite winter holiday food.

Be sure to use the “Post a comment” box; do not reply to another comment! All replies to comments will be deleted!

The contest will be open until noon or so on Thursday Friday, and I'll announce the winner on Friday Saturday.

A special note: I have no way to check the entries, but it would be really nice if those of you who already won something in the 2011 Tauer Advent contest sat this one out and gave other people a chance!

The fine print: Don't enter the contest unless I have permission to use the email address in your reader account to contact you. If the email address in your reader account is incorrect, you might want to fix it. If you are the winner and you fail to send me your mailing details within a couple weeks, I’ll give your prize away to someone else. Sadly, it sometimes usually takes me a month to mail a package. Reasonable care will be taken in the packaging and mailing of your prize, but if the contents are lost or damaged or fail to please you for any reason whatsoever, I’m sorry but I cannot replace them.

I live in the United States.

My favorite winter food would be something festive, like homemade cranberry relish. Having a tart fruit is a nice foil to all of the comforting, heavy foods.

Favorite winter holiday food? So hard to limit it to just one! I love holiday meals with all the smells–roast turkey and apple pie, hot cider and butter cookies! Ah geez, now I think I need to go make some mashed potatoes and turkey gravy. . . :)

PS Thanks for this “one more shot” since I didn’t win anything on the advent calendar giveaways!

    Hi
My name is Sarah Beth Norris and I don’t remember giving this information to any of your fields but it’s : dolcemama@live.com.
I DO happily live in the US! I LIVE in lovelyTucson, AZ. We moved here from St. PeteBeach via home Alabama. Southern belle? Yes, with my niche brands and artistic pieces with food. I love to cook and have perfected many recipes that have won prizes at fairs and county fairs. Many…but everyone usually has the grand fare, turkey and some kind of stuffing made with sage and onions and celery. Oh yummy. We serve it as a casserole in South or “we” do. I learned to cook during my first pregnancy. I was very ill and had broken many bones in an attack that’s how I found out I was pregnant. The attacker was the father. Adios after a few more times. When I told him I was pregnant everything had been ordered and paid for in March I was three months. I had a choice to make. I looked up adoption and abortion pages came right before that and I knew I couldnt do either one. So I just sat there and wondered why I was so sick all the time. None of my family until I delivered would talk to me thank you God for Nana & Popa! Nana took care of me. Nan and I got a cranberry and orange scone recipe. We carried them to friends and they loved them. The way the sugar caramelized the cranberry. I loved perfume but from a young age I would put too much on I still do. So anyway after 14 years we took our orange and cranberr version and made a cranberry sauce. I can’t tell a story like I used versions until perfecting it last year
If you want the recipe let me know etc. it’s won 2 prizes at fairs.

Hi Robin and everyone. I hope everyone’s having a lovely holiday season. I live in the US and would love to be entered for this, and you have permission to use the email attached to my account.

If I had to choose only one winter food love, I think my latest fave dish is a simple comfort food. It is a loaded potato soup prepared in the slow cooker, and while we don’t eat it too often because it is full of loaded baked potato goodness, it is absolutely fantastic, even reheated the next day. Yum. :)

My winter fragrance sweet tooth is beside itself after receiving both my now second bottle of SDV and a bottle of Angel Taste of Fragrance in the same week. The latter was a gift from Mr. Absolute Scentualist after taking a peek about the newest Angel flanker here and noting a comment I left and it is just fantastic, especially those cocoa-licious top notes! I was impressed with his gift research as well. :)

A bright and citrus-filled cologne would be great this time of year, though admittedly winter is taking its time so far this season. We actually had a green Christmas for the first time in years.

    Happy New Year, everyone!

My favorite winter holiday food is something my mother made that we called “Roll-em-Ups”, but I believe the proper term is Beef Rouladen. That and those cookies that had a ton of butter in them. The ones you rolled out, cut with cookie cutters and iced. I didn’t win anything in Andy’s Advent Calendar, but had a great time reading the posts each day. Thanks for the draw.

thanks Robin for another chance to win a Tauer–I had no luck in Andy’s Advent Adventure!! You have permission to use my email and I do live in the USA.

So hard to pick a favorite, but my Mom’s bread stuffing for roast chicken or turkey is a yearly must have. It is soooo good. Happy holidays to all and Season’s Eatings!!

I live in the United States and would love to be in the draw!
DH makes a wonderful Granny Smith apple pie during the winter holiday season and I would take the unused dough and make cinnamon sugar rolls with them. The pie is wonderful, but I’m a pastry buff so the cinnamon rolls are what I like best.
