New limited editions from Gorilla Perfume at Lush

Posted by Robin on 20 December 2011 8 Comments

Lush limited editions

Lush has launched a series of limited edition perfumes, many based on fragrances from their popular bath, body & hair products:

American Cream ~ "Lavender and vanilla shake with a hint of fresh fruitiness."

Twilight ~ "Find serenity in lavender and tonka absolute."

Olive Branch ~ "Soft mandarin scent to uplift and re-assure."

Rose Jam ~ "The scent of a fresh rose in bloom."

Silky Underwear ~ "The Iconic Dusting Powder in Perfume Form."

Snowshowers ~ "A bubbly, fresh scent to help you celebrate."

Yuzu & Coco ~ "Tropical Tangerine and Cocoa Perfume."

All are available now at Lush USA in 30 ml, $30-50. They were originally to be on sale 12/16 - 12/19 only, but the sale has been extended for an unknown time.

Oh, Twilight is lovely! If anyone loves the bath bomb they will also love this. I haven’t smelt any of the others, mine was mail order.

I love the scent of American Cream conditioner (even though it doesn’t work so well on my hair). Last year they offered it as a liquid fragrance (forger the concentration) but somehow something got lost in the translation – too much strawberry, not enough vanilla. The solid perfume, however, was beautiful…wish they still made it. 🙁

It kind of bugs me how things come & go in the perfume category, but I guess for Lush fanatics it adds to the fun (?)

Well there is always the chance that if enough people put forth an outcry, they’ll produce it again as a Retro product. Before the Gorilla perfumes were launched, Icon, I believe it was, showed up a couple of times as a RetroLush product.

True, but then it often disappears again! I like my products to be stable 🙂

Jeez, I just reviewed a bunch of new-ish Gorillas and now here are all these! I wonder if Silky Underwear is any good – I love the smell of the powder.

I wish I could remember the smell of that powder!
