god i hate the way she says ‘fragrance’

and yet, with all those rose petals, there’s no rose notes. sweet. i’ll release a fragrance called ‘Golden Amber’ and it’ll smell like strawberry slurpee.

oh i see what you mean! Actually, I had never heard her talk any words before (aside from “uh huh, life’s like this, uh huh, that’s the way it is”), and she has a very unlikeable speaking voice.
I like the contrast between her tiny thin ratty chirping “Dare to Discover More!” followed by that sonorous, hammy voiceover in the ad. Which voice belongs to the multi-million selling singer again?

Just today I was hoping that someone would make one more bottle this summer with a plastic flower for a cap.

Avril Lavigne does make a good point tho, it is kind of hard and weird to pretend a bunch of rose petals are floating around you. Try it now. See, it’s both hard and weird.

I just saw the Vera Wang Lovestruck bottle in person yesterday at Ulta. That cap is *seriously* goddawful. Can the IFRA put a moratorium on huge floral fragrance caps? :P

You can’t convince me that April Lavigne smells nice.

Gee, I think it’s a nice spot. I’m not the market, but still…
