Avon + Reese Witherspoon Expressions Love, Laugh & Live ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 19 March 2011 7 Comments

Avon + Reese Witherspoon Expressions

Avon will launch a new trio of fragrances — the Expressions collection — fronted by actress Reese Witherspoon. Love, Laugh and Live are designed to "capture three different dimensions of Reese Witherspoon’s multi-faceted femininity":

One day, she feels joyful and playful. The next, optimistic and modern. And sometimes, she exudes a sensual and sexy attitude. The Avon woman isn’t defined by one mood—her emotions change from day to day. . . and now her fragrance can, too. Inspired by the many sides of Avon Global Ambassador Reese Witherspoon, the Expressions collection includes three scents that comprise a candid expression of you. Each of the three scents—Laugh, Live and Love—is a feminine, confident celebration of who you are. So whether you Laugh often, Live without regrets or Love to the fullest, you can express yourself through the new fragrance trio.

Love ~ a floriental "inspired by the fresh glow that comes with falling in love", with black cherry, peony, amber and woods. Due to launch next month.

Laugh ~ a citrus floral "for the woman who laughs out loud", with white tea, mandarin, freesia and rose. Due to launch in May.

Live ~ a fruity floral "for the woman who lives every day to the fullest", with bergamot, muguet and gardenia. Due to launch in August.

Avon + Reese Witherspoon Expressions Love, Laugh and Live will be sold in 50 ml Eau de Toilette, $22.50 each. (via press release)

Really? Is Reese Witherspoon always in a good mood? I’m sure she has those days where she has trouble getting out of bed like the rest of us.

They didn’t include “down in the dumps” or “bad hair day” 😉

Which is a totally missed opportunity because that’s when fragrance comes to the rescue!

Really. There could be an ‘Off to a Rough Start’ that smells like coffee, the neighbor’s dog running through my grass and chocolate for an emergency pick-me-up or Bad Hair Day that smells like rain and humidity, hair serum and a good dose of lipstick to distract from the hair.

Love and Laugh sound nice enough, and the prices aren’t too bad. I actually liked Outrageous somewhat.

Oh, I would buy “Off to a Rough Start”, for sure!

I actually own Reese’s In Bloom. It’s nice, but every time I wear it I wind up burning people’s eyes out because it’s so darned strong (like Reese herself, I suppose). Next time I wear it I just have to remember one drop is all I really need.
