First, the new commercial for Guerlain Idylle, featuring Nora Arnezeder (you can see her original 2009 commercial for Idylle here) and French jazz guitarist Thomas Dutronc. It is in Russian. Below the jump, a 'making of', in French with English subtitles.
Very pretty people in a very pretty place, but it doesn’t really SAY anything. Now that I think about it, I guess that DOES fit a lot of scents! It feels so generic to me, which is too bad, since Guerlain is such a classy company (or at least has that history).
It’s not their best ever…
This reminds me of Lancome Tresor commercial with Kate Winslet.Very romantic I like this better than a commercial with a couple rolling around on a bed.Or flashing too much skin and tatoos like Armani.LOL Bring on the romance.
Maybe it’s the romance I’m not connecting with. . .I ended a 10 + year relationship last summer, and still not feeling any desire to find someone new. REALLY prefer being single right now!
Yes, it reminds me of that too. I thought the original Idylle w/ the rain drops was much better.
I loved the location. I was completely enthralled by the architecture. Oh wait, this is an advert for perfume? 😉
