Hugo Boss will launch Boss Orange for Men in February. The new fragrance is the masculine counterpart to Boss Orange for Women, introduced in 2009, and is fronted by actor Orlando Bloom. According to Bloom, "BOSS Orange is a brand I immediately identified with because it has a laid back, spontaneous quality I relate to".

The notes feature apple, vanilla, incense and Bubinga wood.

Boss Orange for Men by Hugo Boss will be available in 40, 60 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching grooming products. (quote via stylelist, additional information via jebe.de)

Bubinga wood doesn’t sound sexy…maybe it is. Years ago there was a Boss Sport that came in a green bottle. I don’t know why they discontinued it. I liked it but I haven’t seen it in years.

I rarely see HB fragrances at all…and this one, like the Boss Orange for women, won’t get officially distributed in the US.

Bubinga wood? Or maybe they meant “bazinga!” wood? lol Sorry. This may be too obscure if you don’t watch Big Bang Theory on CBS.

Definitely too obscure for me :-)

We got the woman’s release here. After testing I smelled as if I had spilt orange Fanta all over me. It was revolting – on a positive note – I felt like maybe I have actually developed some taste from all my sniffing!

I like the bottle cause it looks like a chocolate bar! :-)

As much as I like Orlando Bloom ( for looking so much like my son), everytime I see/hear Boss Orange all I can think of is Sienna Miller, which literally stops me for even looking at the bottle…
