Kylie Minogue Pink Sparkle Pop ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 10 January 2011 13 Comments

Kylie Minogue Pink Sparkle Pop perfume

Kylie Minogue will launch Pink Sparkle Pop, a new limited edition flanker to last year's Pink Sparkle fragrance for women. The woody floral scent was inspired by "life itself" and is meant to be modern and glamorous.

Pink Sparkle Pop was developed by perfumer Vincent Schaller; the notes feature pink pepper, apple, peach, gardenia, Bulgarian rose, tiare, marigold, sandalwood, ambrosia and musk.

Kylie Minogue Pink Sparkle Pop will be available in February, in 30 ml Eau de Parfum. (via cosmoty.de)

Inspired by life itself? That really narrows it down, doesn’t it?

I suppose that eliminates the Commes Des Garconne, completely artificial (and damn proud to smell like a meteor) notes.

Guess it smells the exact opposite of Charogne? LOL

Does anyone know a US retailer who stocks the Kylie frangrances? Or have you seen them in at any discounters in the states? I liked ‘Inverse’ but had to order it from the EU and it took forever as you might imagine!

I don’t think they’re officially distributed here…some of the discounters might get them though, I haven’t checked.

        Gotcha – I’ll take a look.

If I find anything, I’ll let everyone know!

I am having trouble imagining something called Pink Sparkle Pop being glamorous. A nine-year-old’s idea of glamour, maybe.

The cap is very reminiscent of YSL Champagne.

I rather like Kylie Minogue but I have never been moved to smell any of her fragrances, not one (and she has been cranking them out like babies, one every nine months or so).

I got Inverse to give as a gift for a friend who is a rabid Kylie fan 🙂

It reminded me of (both in smell as in the color of the juice itself) prada Amber for men… I just smelled it when he sprayed it on himself to try it (and he liked it thank god!) so I cannot attest to longevity or development.
