Escada Taj Sunset ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 29 October 2010 11 Comments

Escada Taj Sunset fragrance

Escada will launch Taj Sunset, the latest in their series of limited edition summer fragrances (see last year's Marine Groove).

The India-themed fragrance features notes Alphonso mango, nectarine, blood orange, watery floral accord, raspberry, pomarose, coconut cream, sandalwood and musk.

Escada Taj Sunset will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette. (via myparfuemerie.de, cvs, with thanks to Jacob for the tip!)

Update: more specifically, Taj Sunset was inspired by "exotic Goa"; bath & body products will also be available. (via parfums-tendance.fr)

I can’t help it, I am such a sucker for anything Escada!

I also love to wear any Escada scent during a cold snap. It is unexpected and fun and flirty and I always get compliments. And it is a great way to snap me out of a “OHMYGAWD! Will we ever see the Sun again?!” phase we sometimes get in Texas.

But it can’t be over worn, then it just seems silly.

After the Texas summer we just had, I’m not sure I’m dreading the “ohmygawd will we ever see the sun again” phase JoElla! Escada and I have never really gotten along, but we do need some “sunny” scents to get us by…

I love the name but am not an Escada fragrance fan. The notes just don’t seem Indian-appropriate…I would have expected more spices, possibly incense, possibly jasmine. Definitely not so fruit-heavy.

Yet another suntan product masquerading as a perfume.

i’d be excited if the coconut would make it creamier, but if it’s watered down, along with the fruits, it’ll be rather blah…

fruity scents had never been my thing, but i just received my sample yesterday and i found this one wearable. somehow the ripe mango along with the subtle coconut made it lovely for chilly autumn day.
