Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2010, part 10

Posted by Robin on 21 June 2010 19 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Pop Art Edition

From Marc Jacobs, Daisy in the Pop Art Edition, due to launch in August. In 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Marc Jacobs Lola Velvet Edition

And also from Marc Jacobs, Lola in the Velvet Edition (the petals on the cap are velvet). In 50 ml Eau de Parfum. (both above via moodiereport)

Agua de Loewe Colección Sorolla

From Loewe, the Agua de Loewe Colección Sorolla, a trio of limited editions celebrating the paintings of Joaquín Sorolla. Agua de Loewe, Agua de Loewe Ella and Agua de Loewe Él are in 100 ml each. (via hola)

Beyonce Heat solid perfume ring

At Macy's, a solid perfume ring in the Beyonce Heat fragrance. $35.

That Daisy bottle sure is cute. I don’t think Daisy is bad, but it isn’t me, so thankfully will dodge the bullet that is the limited edition.

Now that Lola bottle… maybe it seems more interesting in person? I just don’t get it, but maybe that’s because I really like the rubbery cap. (Lola is one that I definitely DID NOT like, however.)

I don’t get the Lola either…it looks pretty much the same. Surprised they didn’t do new colors, as they’ve done (over & over) with Daisy.

I guess the Lola bottle is a frosted violet rather than just the purple from the original. Id like to see it in person but I dont really care for Lola and the 1.7oz bottle to begin w/ so I wont be getting a bottle. : )

Yeah, but frosted violet is not a big change…They should have done something more fun, like they’ve done w/ Daisy!

Just when I thought the Lola bottle couldn’t get any trashier…

Sorry, I’m curmudgeonly today. Hate Lola juice, hate the Lola bottle, hate the Velvet Elvis connection. Hate hate hate. But not for sweet little MJ Daisy, which nevertheless is nicest in the white and gold, in my opinion.

And that ring full of Heat perfectly matches the scent.

I really liked the black Daisy bottle. They should do this one in black w/ white & black petals. But sorry you are feeling curmudgeonly today! Although best time to feel curmudgeonly is Monday morning, right?

I just purchased the Beyonce Heat ring since red and black are my favorite colors. It’s verry well made for 35 bucks.

The Daisy is compelling, good job there. I’m not getting the Lola though, Velvet is such a dust-catcher…

a lot of people have a phobia to touching velvet aswell. well maybe not a phobia but still, can’t stand the feel of it.

umm, I don’t think I can remember what Lola smells like, better than Daisy at any rate, don’t like Daisy. so Lola can’t be THAT extravagant if I’ve forgotten it. meh

I really like the Daisy bottle, and the Lola bottle is okay too. Not that I care for either of the actual fragrances!

I don’t care about either of them either way — they’re fine, they’re kind of dull.

ohh, I got Daisy fresh air or whatever it’s called with the blue petals for my Mum but she doesn’t like it. well one minute she did then she didn’t :/ it’s only been like 5 or something. so if anyone wants a swap I’l be happy to get rid of it. if not it’s going to a friend for her 18th birthday lol.

the Lola one looks about the best I think. the neck of cap looks more gold.
