Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Lavender ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 14 April 2010 19 Comments

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Lavender

Elizabeth Arden has launched Green Tea Lavender, a new flanker for 1999's Green Tea fragrance for women. Green Tea Lavender follows recent flankers Green Tea Revitalize (2006), Green Tea Tropical (2007), Green Tea Lotus (2008) and Green Tea Exotic (2009).

Close your eyes and let yourself be transported to a place of peace and endless optimism. Purple waves of blossoms captivate the eye, while the scent of natural lavender awakens your spirit. Green Tea Lavender adds a splash of carefree relaxation to the sparkle of Green Tea original for an invigorating fragrance experience that sweeps your senses up and away. Emphasising the feel-good nature of the franchise, Green Tea Lavender has one of the highest quality certified organic essential oils available, Givaudan's Organic Lavender from Bulgaria.

Additional notes include lemon, mandarin, spearmint, chamomile, oolong tea, magnolia, soft skin musks, birchwood and ambrette seed.

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Lavender is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette, and can be found now at Feel Unique in the UK. (via feelunique)

I used to wear the original EA Green Tea when I was a teenager, however I remember my dad likening my perfume as smelling like grass to a friend of mine … grass. Then again, neither of my parents understand perfume so I’m not surprised.

Though, really, in retrospect I probably did smell like ‘grass’ considering the greenness of the scent.

I think I might have owned a bottle at some point in my life. I know I had a bottle of Sunflowers once…

I had a friend who wore Sunflowers in high school. Makes me want to go back a resniff all of these EA perfumes for the nostalgia.

The only EA fragrance that makes me curious when I scroll through discounters’ sites is Blue Grass. It’s probably been reformulated to the teeth, but I’m curious about the original 1930s formulation for some reason — or at least to smell what it was like pre-1990s.

I own EA Green Tea and i started wearing it recently when the weather started getting warm. It is a very green fragrance, i like it but on me it does not last.
This flanker does sound interesting, at least worth a sniff. I have not smelled the other flankers. Are they still available in the stores?
I hope everyone has a good hump day!!

GT Lotus & GT Revitalize are still at the EA website. Bet you could find the others at discounters.

I too, wore Green Tea years ago… and I love lavender, so I think I’m going to try and give this a sniff. Or, I’ll pick one up when it makes it’s way to the discounters ; )

Don’t know if it’s in the US yet. Might be, but not yet on the EA website.

Oooh I might have to stop by my EA counter and check this out. I fondly remember wearing the original back in the day and purchasing multiple bottles. I love lavender so this might be a lovely addition to my evergrowing fragrance wardrobe. Thanks again for helping me treat myself. 😉

I still have some Green Tea Summer 2005, a fruity-green-floral quite nice which has been my perfume for summer holidays many times.
This flanker seems interesting, and I like lavender, so I’ll give it a try.

Green Tea (and its various incarnations) makes for such a lovely body spray.
