NST giveaway (International) ~ Estee Lauder Sensuous solid

Posted by Robin on 9 July 2009 22 Comments

What is it: a brand spanking new solid perfume pendant in Estee Lauder Sensuous (you can see a picture of the solid if you scroll down here).

Who can win: Any registered reader who has already left at least one comment on the site (see rule #1 below) and who has not won an NST giveaway in the past 6 months.

Update: we have a winner, congrats to Janice!

How to win: If you don't know the rules, please take a moment to read the rules — they're listed below. Then leave a quick comment. Use the "Post a Comment" box (do not reply to another comment). I have used random.org to generate a number between 1 and 15. Once we have 15 comments, I'll identify the winner, and s/he can send their mailing details to robin at nstperfume dot com.

The rules:

  1. Everyone who signs up to comment at Now Smell This has their first comment held for moderation. Comments on giveaway articles are not moderated; if you are leaving your first comment on this site, there is no point in leaving it on this article as it will never show up. There is also no point in quickly leaving another comment somewhere else then coming back to this article to comment, as we don't approve comments that quickly.

More fine print:

  1. Don't forget to claim your prize by sending us your mailing details! If you don't send us your address within a few weeks, we'll give your prize away to someone else.
  2. We will try to mail your package within 2 weeks. In the interest of full disclosure, I admit that it sometimes takes me 3 weeks.
  3. We will notify you when we've finally dragged ourselves off to the post office.
  4. Reasonable care will be taken in the packaging and mailing of your prize, but if the contents are lost or damaged or held up by customs or fail to please you for any reason whatsoever, we're terribly sorry but we cannot replace them.
  5. Some people have complained about our method of holding giveaways. Apologies go out to anyone who finds it unfair, but this is the easiest way for us and so this is how we'll continue to do it.
  6. We'll probably add more rules later as we need them.

I’d like to enter – I’m not sure what the wording is for this one or if it’s only open to non-U.S. people. I’m used to posting “I live in the U.S.”.

I liked this one when I smelled it on a scent strip. Very nice for a department store fragrance. 🙂

Oh, I really liked Sensuous! It was kind of baffling and hard to write about, but gorgeous.

Well, I didn’t win (congrats, Janice!), but at least I finally got to enter one of the contests, so that in itself seems like a kind of triumph. (I always seem to check the site after the prize has already been won.) Plus I’d probably just have given it away to my mom or something.

Janice, please let us know if it melts with body heat and oozes out of the pendant. Inquiring NST minds wanted to know.
