What is it: One 50 ml bottle of Kenzo Eau de Fleur de Soie (Silk), from which I have decanted 3 small sample vials (I keep the samples, you get the bottle).
Who can win: Any registered reader in the US (there will be an international giveaway later in the week) who has already left at least one comment on the site AND who has not won an NST giveaway in the past 6 months.
Update: it's taken! Congrats to Zagara.
How to win: Leave a quick comment below, using the "Post a Comment" box (do not reply to another comment). Kevin has emailed me a number between 1 and 5. Once we have 5 comments, I'll identify the winner, and s/he can send their mailing details to robin at nstperfume dot com.
The fine print:
- We will try to mail your package within 2 weeks.
- We will notify you when we've finally dragged ourselves off to the post office.
- Reasonable care will be taken in the packaging and mailing of your prize, but if the contents are lost or damaged or fail to please you for any reason whatsoever, we're terribly sorry but we cannot replace them.
- We'll probably add more rules later as we need them.
Whee!
Wow, I can’t believe it another and so soon! Please consider this begging.

We have a winner! Congrats, and don’t forget to email me your address.
Yipeee!!
Thanks to Robin & NST for the giveaway 😉
Me too! Love Kenzo Flower Oriental!
Arggh! I missed it!!
But I still love NST. 🙂
D’oh!
I need to start getting up earlier…
i don’t know.. really, i’m from overseas and shouldn’t feel disappointed. the thing is that i’m not disappointed about not being able to take part, but how you pick the winner. i mean, you got literally hundreds of readers who probably don’t have the time to look in every ten minutes to see if there is a new post and chance to win, so maybe you might like to consider other methods of picking the winner than “one of the first five”? you could for example give the readers a 24h timespan to comment and then use a program that randomly picks one of the commenters. i just think it would be more fair to all the readers who’d love to have a chance to win.
I certainly don’t expect anybody to “hang around” waiting for a giveaway, but we’re going to do lots of them and we’re going to do them at all hours of the day so over time it should even out. It is much easier for me to do them this way, and I don’t have a philosophical problem with “favoring” whomever happens to be on the site at any given moment, but sorry if it disappoints anyone.
I’m afraid I am also disappointed about the tiny time span of these picks. I would so love to try this one and I love contests… but when they are virtually instantaneous, I never catch them.
Thank you anyway for offering freebies. 🙂
Ducks, see the comment just above…
I did, and thanks for responding. Daisy below has my sentiment… but it would take a miracle for me to swing by during a contest, as they are roughly instantaneous. I always feel late, since I’m a west coaster and catch up with posts after people on the east coast are all done with them. Oh well, that’s life. Thank you again for offering goodies — it’s generous and wonderful.
Again, the last one was posted very late afternoon & took almost 30 minutes. Last week we did one at 7:30 pm eastern time…we’ll continue to do them different days & times, so don’t see why they would favor the east coast except that eventually I do go to bed, so I guess west coast probably won’t see late night contests.
Robin, I think the free give aways are a lovely thing. You handle it well, and whoever wins is very lucky. I think it’s a fun thing even if I miss it entirely! ~~~however: in the event that I ever do win–I’d really like the “Ding, ding, ding” winner-bell part—(I know, I don’t get out enough) but that just tickles me. 🙂
I love the winning bell idea! The only thing better than a new perfume is a new perfume you win for FREEEEE! 🙂 The very thought that I *might* win some perfume makes my day. The give aways are awesome!
I will try to remember to be sure you get a bell, LOL…
