Hermes Eau de Pamplemousse Rose, Eau de Gentiane Blanche fragrances

Hermès will introduce a trio of colognes in May. The first is a repackaging of the long time house favorite Eau d'Orange Verte. In addition...

House perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena has conjured Eau de Pamplemousse Rose, a sparkling grapefruit scented juice tinted with rose, and Eau de Gentiane Blanche, which features notes of white musk and gentian.

Hermès Eau de Pamplemousse Rose and Eau de Gentiane Blanche will be available in 100 and 200 ml Eau de Toilette; Eau d'Orange Verte will be available in 50, 100, 200 and 400 ml. (via cosmeticnews) Update: Eau de Pamplemousse Rose will also have notes of orange, rhubofix (a Firmenich aromachemical with a "a zesty freshness and unique green rhubarb effect") and vetiver; Eau de Gentiane Blanche also has notes of incense and iris. (via wwd)

Rochas Eau Sensuelle perfumeIn April, Rochas will introduce Eau Sensuelle, a new fragrance inspired by the original Eau de Rochas. Perfumer Jean-Michel Duriez (who was recently appointed in-house perfumer at Rochas) included notes of orange blossom, pink pepper and jasmine.

Rochas Eau Sensuelle will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette. (via abc-luxe)

Update: according to Duriez, the new fragrance is "...the occasion to push the sensuality of Eau de Rochas". Additional notes include blood orange, bergamot, mango, iris, dried fruits and white musk. (via wwd)

This is exciting… I have been playing with EOV and CEOV for a LONG time… everytime I seem to land on one as the one for me, I change my mind. I like the mint in the CEOV, but the “ice lolly” opening is a bit off putting, but then the base settles and it smells great – that said, the EOV is a bit more thought out as a whole scent, but it doesn’t last long… maybe when the other two hit the stores, I’ll finally be able to decide which ONES I want – if that is at all possible!

Also quite possible that there will be an unannounced reformulation of EOV…worth trying it again when these launch!

I was ready to jump on the new Rochas Eau Sensuelle, for the sake of pink pepper and prestige of Eau de Rochas, but then came the dissapointment with the orange, bergamot…difficult days for an orange enemy as myself.
But wait, it’s not launched yet, still hope.

Robin where can I find Eau Sensuelle? I’m having a really hard time just finding Eau de Rochas EDT! It’s like it has suddenly vanished from all the perfume sellers. My usual supplier has none nor does anyone else.

Where are you located? It’s online in Europe, but not sure Rochas even has an official distributor in the US anymore…I only see them at the discounters, generally some time after they launch. Beautyencounter has a pretty good selection, but not this one yet (they do have the regular Eau de Rochas though).

I just bought a bottle of Pamplemousse Rose. I think they’ve definitely improved the lasting power because it’s 4 hours later and it’s still strong. It’s wonderful, by the way. Like Kelly Caleche, it opens with grapefruit but PR is more of a ruby red grapefruit and you can definitely smell the roses. It dries down with a rich creaminess and then the rhubarb comes out to play. This is a fruity floral for grownups. I love it!!!

I forgot to mention…the PR bottle is even prettier in person. It’s a much deeper green than the photo here.
