Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2008, part 8

Posted by Robin on 4 October 2008 16 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is "special" (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.

From Acqua di Parma, Iris Nobile Eau de Parfum in a 100 ml collector bottle etched with flowers (above left). $154 at Nordstrom.

From Donna Karan, a DKNY Be Delicious keychain (above right): rollerballs and lipglosses in the Be Delicious and Be Delicious Night fragrances. $35 at Sephora.

Issey Miyake's iconic L'Eau d'Issey in a limited edition, numbered bottle designed by Shiro Kuramata (above left): "solid glass cubes decorated with an accent of blue, containing a laser cut sphere". £200. (via vogue.co.uk)

Also at Nordstrom, Thierry Mugler's Alien in the "Gold Excess Radiant Touch Duo", including a "dramatic refillable limited-edition bottle, which is adorned in brilliant gold" plus a "Luminous Body Shimmer" compact (above right). $75.

A collector edition of Yves Saint Laurent Opium, with red lacquer and a glass cut-out showing the brand's logo. Coming in October in 50 ml Eau de Toilette. (via cosmoty.de)

The keychain thingy looks very nifty, I just wish it had some scents I actually wanted. :-(

    Yes you do, IrisNoble! '~)

I am thinking this would be an excellent way to spend my Nordstrom bucks. I hope it is not TOO limited.

We need keychains w/ all the Hermessences or something — but that would cost a bajillion dollars.

I wish they'd done it in the EdT, I don't really love the EdP. Oh well. I need another bottle like I need a hole in the head.

That L'Eau d'Issey bottle is very nice also. Is this the scent that was no longer available and everyone wished they had purchased when they had a chance?

No, that was Feu d'Issey! Wish they'd bring that back. In a *cheap* bottle though!

I am also hoping that Iris Nobile is not too limited… nothing's gonna stop me know, that bottle gonna be mine!

Me too – I really don't like those scents but the keychain idea is way cute.

That Issey Miyake bottle is making me drool. Don't have a clue about the juice. Don't care.

That Alien bottle just looks like Darth Vader crossed with a penguin.

The Alien bottle doesn't do anything for me, but both of you should have it if you want it — it's pretty reasonably priced!

Wow there's so many LE's. Have you seen the ones from Bond?

They just revamped their site and I checked it out this morning and saw those. The Nuits de Noho bottle looks gorgeous! $400 bucks gorgeous…

I did see that they've got some new LEs…there are so many this year I can't keep up — have 6-7 waiting for me to find time to format another post :-)
