Bond no. 9 will release the third fragrance in their Andy Warhol series, Lexington Avenue, in August. The scent is named for an apartment in Murray Hill that Warhol sublet from a friend in 1953.
The floral woody chypre scent was developed by perfumer Claude Dir; the notes include blue cypress, fennel, cardamom, pink peony, iris, crème brûlée, pimento berry, patchouli and sandalwood.
Bond no. 9 Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue will be available in 50 and 100 ml. The bottle design features a shoe collage (according to CBS News, Andy Warhol had a "thing for shoes"), and there will also be limited edition bottles with silver shoe necklaces (as shown) by Robert Lee Morris. (via wwd)
