Men in bathrobes. Dozens of them.

Posted by Robin on 6 November 2007 11 Comments

If you care to take yourself to Bloomingdales on Lexington Avenue in New York City on Thursday, November 8th, you'll find...

...dozens of sexy, masculine men -- wearing nothing but sexual fresh (and a terry bathrobe over underwear to stay within the confines of the law) -- will be celebrating the release of Michel Germain's newest fragrance, sexual fresh for men.

This exciting celebration will take place outside Bloomingdale's on Lexington & 59th Street at 12:30 p.m. (via prnewswire)

… dozens of COLD men, it sounds like to me. Whose great idea was it to schedule this in November?

My thought exactly. They're not going to look all that 'impressive' in chilly conditions, are they? Poor guys. I hope they get to wear slippers.

Let's just hope it doesn't rain. Am picturing dozens of men in underwear, bathrobes & umbrellas.

Dozens of “sexy, masculine men” in sodden bathrobes, desperately clutching at umbrellas that are being turned inside out by the winds ripping down the city streets… this is going to be great.

With tissues, furtively inhaling Sinex sprays. Sexeeeeee…

I`d pay to see that. LOL! Let`s hope they`ll be paid adequately for this this job – considering the health risks.

Sexual Fresh, hmm? Sounds like it could be a name for a Japanese flavoured condom brand. I'd always see very funny oddly named products in the Japanese stores when I used to shop with my mom. I'm no prude, but I find that name (and the original Sexual) sort of cringeworthy – would you seriously want to tell someone you're wearing Sexual or Sexual Fresh? Maybe that's more Tom Ford's thing. ;-D

LOL — seriously, I don't think there is any amount of $$ you could pay me to stand in front of Bloomies in my bathrobe, much less in November.

especially surrounded by attractive men in bathrobes.

Yes I do miss the city. Haven't been in far too long. I imagine the perfume temptations might be too overpowering (Caron urns!) — L.A. has enough temptations as it is.
