Guerlain L'Instant Fleur de Mandarine & Cristaux d'Agrumes, Coach for women ~ new fragrances
Guerlain will launch limited edition variations on L'Instant for women and men this spring. For women, L'Instant de Guerlain Fleur de Mandarine (shown) dresses up the original L'Instant fragrance (magnolia, cedar, musk, vanilla) with citrus and fruity notes, including mandarin, bergamot, bigarade, blackcurrant and mandarin blossom. For men, L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme Cristaux d'Agrumes is given a citrusy twist with bergamot, Italian citron, grapefruit. (via fashionmag.fr)

When Francis Kurkdjian, one of France's premier perfumers, set out to re-create a fragrance of Marie Antoinette, his greatest fear was that it would stink.
After all, he reasoned, the 21st-century nose might have little tolerance for the potent potions that the famous queen and her royal court used to mask the smells of their opulent but odiferous 18th-century environs at the Chateau de Versailles.
