Every year, Lalique issues its Lalique Pour Femme and Lalique Pour Homme fragrances in limited edition bottles. You can see older editions here and here. Pictured is the 2008 limited edition Pour Homme:
The Buddha, which first came from India, then spread throughout Asia, incarnates above all serenity and the values of wisdom. Worked in frosted glass, the Buddha is seated in a meditating position, with eyes closed in an attitude conducive of reflection.
The cost: £585.00. (via diarydirectory)
I can't tell what's going on with my experience of the Malle scents — Une Rose, Iris Poudre, Noir Epices and Musc Ravageur truly astonished me.
Now I smell French Lover — and just read about Outrageous — and I think, “So?”
Am I jaded, or is he overreaching? xoxo
Interesting. I thought so little of French Lover when I smelled it that I put it away, thinking I'd wait a few months and try it again.
Outrageous sounds horrible, but don't see how it can be from Sophia Grojsman? But that hideous bottle doesn't help to convince me.
Yep, we're all jaded, and they're all overreaching.
I can't wait to try Outrageous, I confess; I care so little about bottles and so much about Sophia Grojsman.
I was really excited to hear she was doing a scent for FM, but having a hard time w/ the green apple & clean laundry, and the one-off deal for Barneys Coop instead of the regular FM line. Looks like FM's attempt to pull in a younger audience, which is so disappointingly just like everybody else. We'll see, perhaps it will be fabulous.
