Christina Aguilera ~ the next celebrity fragrance

Posted by Robin on 12 January 2007 4 Comments

Christina AguileraPop singer Christina Aguilera will launch a new fragrance in conjunction with Procter & Gamble:

I love trying new things in my music and in fashion. To have a perfume of my own is the beginning of an exciting adventure. Procter and Gamble is the ideal partner for this new experience.

Sounds excited, doesn't she? Look for her new perfume around the end of this year. (via lifestyleextra & moodiereport, picture via christinaaguilera)

LOL – yes, it sounds like the PR firms have developed a form letter statement for a celeb releasing a fragrance.

I'm… confused. What on earth was her Xpose fragrance about then, if she doesn't already have a scent:

I know this project was for European markets, so I wonder if this is going to be the same thing, or something else entirely?? (IF I recall correctly, this was from a while back – Xpose had a Dec. of '05 release) The release makes it sound like she's never done a perfume before.

And then she'll have to sign the form talking about how much input she had into developing the scent, LOL…

Guessing that P&G doesn't count Xpose given how small the distribution was, although it does seem to still be in production…or at least, still listed on the Sarantis website.
